Wow! Your drum mix sounds amazing! I dragged some midi clips into my version of PIV and it doesn't sound anywhere near as good. I see that you've done a video on how you mixed drums using Cubase stock plugins, but could you do a new tutorial showing how to get the sound in this video? I'm assuming you're not using all stock plugins and I think it would also help those of us not using Cubase.

@dev49653 жыл бұрын
@@roryt1985 not entirely true. when it comes to mix ready, you still may have to tweak some stuff such as volume and EQ to make truly bite through in the mix. something like raw drum recordings, you would see an insane different between GGD stock without mixing and those reocrdings.

Thank you, that's helpfull. Got the pack 3/4 weeks ago, then realized i had to get a kit (🙄🤭 got mh previous kit). So after some hastle to get it right in reaper checking around vids to map it right and deal with kontakt, i can say i finaly have my first decent kit. I did a first song ("no walls kid" on my channel for those of you desperate) using the patterns that go with the mh kit and playing around. Still not good at mixing the all thing so i also try to learn my way through nolly's masterclasses. But I didn't know what to make of the grooves as they are pretty sick. now this vid pushes me to explore these again, maybe with more laidback riffs, rich drumming doesn't mean complex riffing i guess. Thank you for providing all these lessons with the getgooddrum products as that's the only way for us to improve as we probably have only a fews hours per week to be less mediocre at this !👍🤘
