As an owner of a cayman s and a GTR I really approve of this video! The GTR is very agile for its size. It was designed for corners not just for drag racing. This kind of result is not a surprise for any properly modified GTR…. Like mine. All this “boat” talk is ridiculous.

For those that don't know, when he says 981 GT4 he means the previous gen Cayman GT4. The current gen (982) gets the "718" moniker...a tip o' the hat to the 718 RSK race car that debuted in 1956. I own several Porsches, including a 718 Cayman GT4 RS (or simply, "GT4 RS", since it's the only one in history). My other Porsches include a 992 GT3 Cup (race car), 992 GT3, 992 GT3 RS, and Macan S.

Great video and skillful driving Misha. The Gtr has always been a legend. It helps when you have a good driver who know the car and track. The car is a icon. It was at the top of its form when it won many Gt3 races in the Nismo form 7 and 8 years ago. It has always been agile! Knowing how to modify them with extra power as well as suspension mods takes a already brillant car to a stratefesic level. Looking forward to more videos!

Nissan literally created this car for the circuit; it has won countless titles in competition. And I have also been present for it to see it with myself on many different circuits. Even my own country. To say that you must have driven the base GTRs with no options with their soft suspension. Or the very first ones from 2007. Now go try the very latest Nismo and we'll come back to talk. Minimum the '20 version.

That GT4 is a fantastic car, I'd kill for one. Amazing to see that Nissan GTR pretty much walk away from the Porsche. Most amazing was the Porsche really couldn't gain any ground in the corners despite weighing almost 1000lbs less. I guess on a tighter track it would make a difference.

​@mgcharoudin what's a good all around tire/wheel setup for q50 luxe awd attessa-ets tuned to 420hp and 500tq? Currently stock suspension/height. I was thinking of mimicking the Calsonic R32gtr setup slightly but on a street tire, granted I can't run same offset as lmgt1 wheels and I'm worried about scrub radius etc. R32 was a 18x10 +20 0n 265 40 18 tire. I was thinking 18x9.5 +35 on 265 40 18 or even 275. Taking into consideration I will be doing akebono brake conversion and coilovers later. I scoured the R35 gtr setups but v37 skyline sedans (q50 in US) don't have suspension geometry similarities so can't mimick their setups(correct me if I'm wrong)

i don't think it's crazy if you compare the performance numbers of the two cars, of course the driver also plays a role. I found the 911 Turbo S Cabriolet in the previous video more impressive. In the final sections he was then completely out of sight of Misha in the Shelby GT350.
