So surreal to see ,this exact car is actually my old S1 I never actually got to take it out on track at all like I had planned due to not getting around to doing a big brake kit yet so to see it doing a lap of the ring piloted by Misha is awesome. So glad Ammad has completed some of my personal goals I had for the car he’s a top bloke

I run similar setup and power on my S1 but with other pads fluid, lines and rotors. The stock pads were absolutely cooked after my first trackday. @@greyguy.960 Depends on where you live and how you drive the car. Right now I'm daily-running a set of EBC yellowstuff. Good pad, but glaze up quite easily if you get them too hot after a long day of tracking. I run them only since I drive less on track now than before and also us the car 7 months during winter and they work well in cold weather. If you intend to just go track, EBC RP1 or RP-X work nice, but they won't work well during winter. Ferrodo have some good pads for track use aswell.

Yeah just got one of these, little rocket ships of a car, a bit of fibbing under the bonnet and now it's 320bhp. Which is enough for the b roads near my home in Easingwold York, Britain. Anything faster and you going to meet a tractor on these roads and it's doesn't end well. As my old car experienced.

, it's ok. Depending compared to what? A modern hot hatch yes not as good as a M2. Audi is a bit dull anyway I've found had a few rs models in the 3 model. But I am an 80s and 90s kid so compared to natural steering such as my old xr2's, rs turbo, Renault 5 Turbo S1 is modern steering with a bad feel. I know that doesn't help sorry :)

@iNSTAGiB it's just a bit better than average. I have been in older Swift and they are light cars it feels light, have responsive steering, and as said you can feel the load. Swift is a great car to place and they feel alive. Audis are duller as you say, it's not an Rs model just an S and it feels that way. But it's the better of the bunch I would say. It inspires confidence and it's a nice for a smaller fast car. I'm a bit older so I'm getting to the age I want comfort and speed The best way is to test-drive one in my opinion. I did and I was sold straight away. It's a great car since Audi lost the problem of understeering.

Nankang NS-2R and the AR1’s are actually good though. AR1’s, especially the 80TW version are one of my favourite track tyres. Don’t knock something just because they’re so called “cheap” tyres.
