Always nice to see that an N55 M2 with some modifications can keep up with an expensive Porsche GT3 RS costing four times the price of an M2 on a fast track like the Nürburgring, also thanks to a good driver behind the steering wheel who knows the ring as well as his own pocket.

Very nice driving and great set up overall but I doubt this n55 has 500hp, because real 500hp and turbo torque usually make these m2s faster than gt3 in a straight line. So my guess this one has about 460hp at best

N55 M2, or N55 in general in my opinion is the best sounding turbo BMW engine. Im biased, but it sounds awesome. Great video though, i all of a sudden want an OG M2 😆

N55 may sound better because single turbo, but the S55 would be keeping up with the RS's. JS. Also running a N55 like this all the time, especially tuned, gonna be swapping rod bearings out every 50k miles😂

Great drive! May I ask what has been done to the N55? I know from own experience the N55 in the M2 doesn't have much headroom left for more power if you don't change a lot of hardware. Gotta love the stock seats lol. Cheers Robin

The crazy thing about those GT3's is that they just stick to the tarmac and I believe they're very forgiving to small driver mistakes. I have a 997 Carrera S and even though it's an old car, it's just flat through corners and handles better than my A35.

Lovely balance, grip and quick shifting gearbox - presumably DCT. Those 911s must've had some engine tuning too - stock only matching the tuned M2. Still, kept up with them which is more than most other road cars could achieve. Lovely lap!

He only ‘kept’ up because they were approaching the traffic first and being cautious around those cars! Misha was going way over the top here and driving pretty dangerously. I also love Mishas videos but he gets carried away at times… Also the GT3s pulled away with ease everytime the track cleared up and those gt3’s won’t have any more than 10hp more than stock even if they were tuned.

@@WeirdBrick Yeah, the driver of the gt3 rs flashed his lights (3:35) after misha run over the curb at the beginning. Don't like seeing him driving like that, there is so small benefit (time) using the curbs. You can see quite often the faces of the owners when he does that. They are silent, but they for sure don't like that.
