Building THE FASTEST BMW M2 On The Nürburgring

Spec sheet:
The car weights 1394 with 3/4 of fuel
It will run on Apex EC-7 18x10 and 18x11 with Dunlop Direzza
Engine at the moment is stock apart from remap (with full Akrapovic System)
Hybrid Turbo have now been installed should be good now for 650bhp with a more naturally aspirated engine feel.
In the video the car is running 540 bhp and 720 Nm

@@RK1FX you need your eyes checked look at the front grill, an N55 Engined M2 wouldn’t make past 500 with a bigger turbo, and besides Misha clearly says TURBOS a the beginning clearly referring to the fact that this car has a S55 engine

WOW. I didnt expect this speed, it flies low - not drive on the track ! :) Seriously serious speed and it looks that is maximum possible on this track, faster than this car could not stay on road - tires would not have grip ! :D Car is already jumping up and down, amost vibrating... wow ! What a serious machine.... No matter Im not BMW fan or who actually have made car from where they started ( I believe that they would made Lada 1200 or Trabant exacly same fast LOL) and actually Im impressed not how fast but how car lay on track, how it handle and turns with fantastic brakes too. Impressive ! I wish them good luck and I hope we will see car when it will be finished. Cheers

The x-bow have less power/weight than the M2 so it somehow show the value of low weight, especially in every corner, braking-turning. (X-bow 790 kg / 240 hp = 3,3 kg/hp vs M2 1390 kg/ 540 hp = 2.55 kg/hp). Historic comparision with porsche 550 vs V12 Ferraris =)

Man, i dig it. All the M2 track builds coming out are fantastic. Honestly, i'd define the M2 more as the modern M3 than the current/upcoming M3/4s... Been thinking though, with the BMW M2 CS Racing cars coming in at 90k out the door, it must be fairly tough market for a non-street-legal M2. Between cost of the car and the parts, let alone installation, i'm not sure how one could beat the M2 CS Racing in track-car value for money.

The work on the rear axle is amazing, For an FR car to have almost no oversteer and a little bit of understeer. Nicely balanced car for the track. I love it. It looks clean too, not overdone.
