Will this increase oil capacity or maintain the stock oil capacity?

You don't show the removal, or reinstallation of the plastic next to the radiator between it and the headlights. What with those? Do you put an extra quart of oil in before you run the engine to check for leaks? If so, how does that work if the thermostatic plate hasn't opened yet because it hasn't come to temperature to open?

Hello thomwithah. All of the plastic pieces are removed with the same method as the ones shown in the video. Simply remove the pop clips, and the plastic covers will come off. Reverse order of operations would be taken when reinstalling. As far as the cooler system goes, you should add an additional 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart of oil after installing. Once installed, allow the vehicle to come to operating temperature and inspect for leaks. While the thermostatic kit does regulate temperatures, it does always allow a small amount of oil through the system to prevent very cold and very warm oil from making contact with one another when the thermostat opens.

Mishimoto Automotive Good to know about the plate letting a bit through. The bit I'm talking about is part # G1EY-8311-A, you don't show it's removal. I don't think it can be installed back in place when this cooler is installed. Please clarify.

Mishimoto Automotive the linked PDF, after step 23, has all the same.(seemingly unrelated) photos. It also doesn't mention the rear air diverters.

Is this exclusively for the RS or could it also be used on the ST? If this cooler isn't compatible could this air diverter be used on an ST?
