Hey LVD! I enjoyed a lot our match and was fun to watch from your POV. When I was recording I said something like "Let's stay for LVD to do his thing with Mishra" because I hate when I'm trying new cards or combos and people won't let me do it. I think there are two types of content creators when it comes to EA events: the creators that want to make content and show new cards, and the creators who want to be "the first to find the best deck in the format" and the latter ones seem to be conceding all the time when they are not winning, which is kind of sad tbh. Anyway cheers man and keep with the good work!

I often concede during normal play to get through more games, but we want to see the new things and I feel content creators not seeing it through is antithetical to the whole point of these pre-release VIP events. Those like Mr Loki and Kazumi shouldn't be invited if they can't spare a few seconds to showcase the new interactions.😠

Did Wizards change their policy regarding playing games to the end in the early access events? I find it weird to see all these early concessions when only content creators of some form are participating.
@powerchord84972 жыл бұрын
Yea another two content creators i watched complained about this (Crokeyz and SaffronOlive). It's BS and these people conceding early should not get to participate in the next VIP event.
@clon11222 жыл бұрын
@@powerchord8497 yeah the main argument is the spirit of the early access is to show players what the cards can do. It isn't meant for you to grind and win.
@gamingtime97162 жыл бұрын
Well, the losing content creators need to make videos that show what their cards do, and losing is a bad way to do that. By conceding, they're more quickly going to be able to produce content. I don't think it's competitive, it's just needing to make a video.
@powerchord84972 жыл бұрын
@@gamingtime9716 I get it. But I thought wotc asked them not to do so just during this event so that all the creators can showcase the new cards and interactions and such. Some of us may not get to achieve them ourselves for a long time. Oh well, if this is all I have to complain about today, I guess I’m in a good spot.

I’ve noticed more and more these VIP’s have really crappy attitudes. Everyone quits like a sore loser when you’re supposed to let the games play out so people can test out new decks. The sense of entitlement is real when WoTC makes it a condition to not quit and everyone quits anyway because they fear no repercussion. Legend makes great decks and we can’t even see them fully.

It really sucks that meld cards exile before fusing. I really wanted you to do a mutate deck where you mutate on Phyrexian Dragon Engine or Phyrexian Flexgorger as they make great mutate cards. Wizard thought of everything!
@davidhower70952 жыл бұрын
I’m sure it’d be a rules nightmare, lol. Though I’m very sure they didn’t have Mutate in mind when designing Meld in Eldritch Moon
@dzello2 жыл бұрын
@@davidhower7095 They likely did not, but there's other cards that would be problematic. Pretty much everything that attaches like Enchantments and general buffs. By having the cards go out of play through exile, they deal with all of those (and, sadly, mutations). Phyrexian Flexgorger still works as a Mutate card, but that's it. Mutating on Titania, Voice of Gaea with a monogreen mutate deck would've been hilarious.
