Just got my sample and wow, I love it. I'm not a big fan of rose either, so the powdery violet and iris being the notes I get right off the bat--makes me extremely happy. It just gets better as time goes on. Lovely review.

I loved Coco Chanel & Igor Stravinsky but my favorite Chanel movie is "Coco Avant Chanel" with Audrey Tautou. Perfection! A lot of these notes you mention resemble the ones in Coromandel, but this sound nothing like Coromandel. Its an exciting time to be a fan of the Chanel house lets hope they deliver. Thanks for your impressions :)

I have the edp bottle and some samples as well and wow do i love this stuff !! not in the first period i had it..i liked it off course. But if a take a chanel les exclusif sometimes from my collection its mostly misia with my breafast or for going to bed ! I love it in those two moments , Me and my smell , feels so special , feminin, retro , chique, so different .. ❤️👌

It is floral, it is powdery but it seems to work in the same way as Dior Homme works. You know, that fine line between Mother's Chanel clutch and Dad's Louis Vuitton gym bag.

Finally got to mark Faconnable off my buy list this week. So hard to find. And now add another Chanel right back on the list. So many Chanels on the list. So hard to buy this house. The list never seems to get smaller. When RobbieX and Lanier Smith agree on a fragrance its usually worth buying. Guess I will have to get my spring / summer rose kick from Faconnable for awhile.... Probably not all that awful of a thing ... really...

PS Bowling Green is pretty cheap on Ebay right now. RobbieX has it rated higher than Chanel Pour Monsieur and Balmain. This I have to see. Hate buying on ebay but this time I might do it.

Wouldnt hurt my feelings any if you told me where you bought yours. This has been discontinued for awhile and when you buy from Ebay you dont know how these guys stored it for the last few years. 6 months ago you couldnt find this at all and now its magically appearing. As if someone had a secret warehouse of a thousand bottles they forgot they had.
