Miskatonic U is def an Ivy League. In Dunwich Horror, it's compared to Harvard. In Mountains of Madness, it has the heft to fund a massive expedition to Antarctica. It's a major leading uni, set in a twee New England town with a witchcraft history, see Witch house. It also has the only copy of the Necromonicon.

I think there’s 5 authentic copies of the Necronomicon. There are copies at Harvard , Buenos Aires, Paris and London too
