‘Babysitting’ their own children… I hate this one because a father doesn’t babysit his kids while the mother has some rest. He’s doing his duty as a parent and shouldn’t be praised for it anymore than any other parent.

I remember the time me and my mom were going to the restrooms together at a restaurant and we saw a guy standing in the middle of the two doors that divide the women and men’s restrooms carrying a baby in his hands. Turns out the guy was a single father with his daughter and he needed to change her diaper but there wasn’t any stations on the men’s restrooms so he had been standing there for 30 minutes asking girls if they could please change his daughter’s diapers or just go in with him so that girls didn’t see him as a creep. My mom offered to change the baby’s diaper and gave the baby back to the guy, I did feel really bad about the guy because when he approached us to ask us he was in the verge of tears and when my mom accepted he looked like he was gonna start crying from happiness, I hope him and his daughter are okay :c

That’s heartbreaking. He should’ve just gone in! His baby needs to come first, always, in all situations. Reverse the role though. I would have gone in the man’s bathroom without thinking twice.. I actually did go in then men’s bathroom! 😂 my kids were young (were starting to use the public bathroom by themselves, but together) and one time they were taking long… I peeked in to ask them if everything was ok, and well, it wasn’t.. they needed my help, so I just went in, didn’t think twice. So why would it be different in this situation?

The fact that diaper changing station only being in womens restrooms is honestly dumb, because what if a dad needs to change his kid, and its only him, but there are no changing stations he can use. Its also refurring that only women should do housework or take care of a baby.

Changing stations in the gender neutral wheelchair bathroom instead of either the Mens or the Women's bathrooms is beginning to come in here. Not sure about whether it's a good thing or not. Honestly, a lot of sexist shit also affects men. The idea that women are nAtUrAL cArEgiVeRs is why so many men lose custody of their kids, even on occasions where they’d be the better parent. I know a really lovely guy who adores his daughter, and who almost lost all custody to his smackhead ex (who among other things abandoned the kid at a park on no less than three occasions) because “a girl needs her mother” according to the judge. He only got the kid full-time after this bitch was literally implicated in a murder ffs. The idea that women should be modest good girls who keep their legs shut against the universally horny men leads to women getting called names for enjoying sex, while male victims of sexual assault are just told there’s something wrong with them for not enjoying themselves. Talking about your feelings is “ewww girly”, asking for help is for bitches, so men commit suicide at a disproportionate rate and end up only seeing doctors when their cancer is too far along to treat (as evidenced by my now-dead hyper-masculine grandfather). Cutting out the whole cultural misogyny, hyper-masculinity bullshit will make things better for *everyone* who isn’t a sentient bin-bag.

Idk, its a mans tool that only works for them. Its like if a man bought a bra that would also be bad. 5. I agree. If someone is telling you to cheer up, thats fine, but if they're doing it in a misogynistic way, then its bad, like saying "smile more" 6. That is weird. Its weird to assume women are always going to have a baby, and its also weird that men are assumed opposite. 7. I also agree that there is a lot of creepy both men and women out there.

Because they interpret a smile or laughter as a sign of attraction (for them). If the girl is not smiling it means she's not attracted to them and makes them feel insecure. Once a guy tried to force a kiss on me and i had to squirt my bubble tea on him to escape when i asked "what's wrong with you?" He said that i laughed so he thought i was up for kissing. Note: I laughed because he was making a funny face drinking the bubble tea while all the tapioca pearls were getting stuck. So, in their sick mind, if you are just smiling for the sake of being polite you are sending them "signs" you are interested and if you don't smile you are a rude cold biatx. Thats why a woman with a serious face is known for having a "resting biatx face".

So last semester in college, I was close to this beautiful girl. She's stylish, mature, friendly... so as someone who didn't care much to put on make up and picks up whatever I can wear for the day, I was DULL compared to her. And that was more obvious when we were talking with a guy during lunch. The guy seemed so into whatever it was that she was talking about, meanwhile, whenever it's my turn, he didn't even look at me and kept talking over me as if I don't exist. Meanwhile my friend was visibly uncomfortable with the way he treated me, but I signaled her not to say anything. And then there was another instance where a guy blew smoke on my face as we were sitting at a cafe surrounded by my new college friends. Noone did anything and I just took it. It's sad that some people would put a lot of effort into making sure they're not attracted to someone. All I did was being nice and polite, I wasn't hitting on them at all. But at least that's how I can tell the difference between men who are worthy of respect and affection, and those who aren't

as a guy, heres the answers to all these "misogynistic things" 1.It's called pretty privilege, and it's the exact same for both genders. 2. being called too girly is an insult as a way of saying you're a b*tch or too feminine, too manly is a way of saying you're toxic or too masculine. 3.fan girls are called crazy, and so are fan boys. The context of both are usually used when people idolize k-pop singers or anime. 4. It's considered a good thing because yes hes being safe, but when a woman does it its considered the same but assumptions can be made that shes a $lut because it can be used on several people whereas the man buying the condom can only be used on himself, basically all assumptions and no actual basis to this. 5. I literally dont even know, how is this considered misogynistic? 6. Duh, most people assume that the baby will be with the woman. Also if its only in women's bathrooms isn't that misandry? 7. Men also can't go out at night time, don't be stupid. But it is for different reasons that being getting mugged whereas women fear getting kidnapped. By the way, if the person who made this happens to see this, maybe think more logically before making a video about "misogyny" when literally all of these were just completely normal things or just assumptions by society.

Men respect attractive women for the same reason women respect attractive men; it shows you are mature and take care of yourself. #2: Too girly is an insult because 'girl' is a younger and more immature term; think of it like being called too boyish. 'Man' is a term that is more adult and respectable & the same for goes for 'woman'. Idk abt the 3rd one, & I mostly agree on #4, but saying "you should smile more" could be condescending, but it's usually a genuine compliment; when girls tell me to "smile more" I smile & say "thanks", & I think most men would agree. #6 abt the diapers, that's where the urinals go. #7 get a gun, learn to use it, LEARN TO BE RESPONSIBLE, and no more trouble.

How does being attractive in any world equate to hygiene? Because, sure, things like showering, skincare, fitness and good diet may be able to change SOME things about your appearance, but it cannot alter your genetics (especially your facial bone structure!) unless you get altering surgery.
@cafdodo5629
@cafdodo5629 11 ай бұрын
@@toptierprocrastinator Honestly, you kinda answered your own question. Hygiene plays a massive role in both how you physically look, (clean skin, hair, nails, clean shave, all that) but also how people subconsciously perceive you. No matter how good you look, if you're the smelly guy/girl, then people won't take you seriously and they'll think of you as sloppy, because, well, you most likely are. And on the facial structure one, obviously a lot of it is genetics, but there is also plenty that you can change for yourself. Start chewing gum throughout the day in order to exercise your facial muscles, and keep your jaw from sinking in towards your neck. You can also improve your mouth posture through mewing, the thing where you position your tongue to fill out the roof of your mouth. I've done all these things, from exercise, to improved hygiene, and overall posture, and I can honestly say they've all worked to make more attractive and respectable.

After a while, her classmates started talking bad about her, calling her a pick-me, saying that she was just gaming because she liked that dude and wanted to flirt. And the funny thing is, the dude heard all that crap, thought the same and left her. She didn't care. Gaming is just a form of entertainment, why gender it? it's amazing how many ppl think equal rights have been achieved, that this is "just the way things are", and just generally resisting/tuning someone out or debating equality. I really don't think it's that hard and I envy certain movements because we've been fighting for equal rights for literally half the human populace for over 100 years and haven't come as far as some of them. Human beings, despite superficial differences, have the same value as one another - period.
3 жыл бұрын
as women gain rights their happiness decrease, and it wasn't only woman fighting for rights, and you talk as if women don't have the same rights even today lol, you have the same rights and you don't ever needed to go to war or get drafted, literally the privileged sex
@Undeadsweater
@Undeadsweater 3 жыл бұрын
@ An extremely popular and likely theory as to why women’s happiness has declined as their rights have grown is that societal expectations have not changed as much as legal rights. This means that many women today have jobs, yet are still expected to shoulder nearly the entire burden of raising kids and doing housework, while their male partner has a job and doesn’t do as many domestic duties. This unequal and unfair distribution of labor in the home inevitably leaves women less happy. If we want women to be happier, we must stop enforcing the idea that moms are automatically responsible for all domestic duties regardless of employment status. Another reason women are less happy is because as they have more rights, their expectation of treatment becomes higher. This is like an abused child growing up and realizing that their treatment is wrong. They may report higher happiness as a child while they are unaware how much better they could/should have it, and as an adult once they escape the bad conditions they may report lower happiness due to new found awareness of how fucked up their life is/was. People who have higher expectations and are more critical of the world are more likely to report lower happiness, but that doesn’t mean that their criticisms aren’t valid. Also, there are some ways in which women still have it harder legally in the US, including abortion rights being curtailed in some states. But overall I would agree that in America (and Canada and some European nations) women have equal rights. I do think it’s unfair that women are not required to sign up for the draft, and would be fine with that changing. Women also are more likely to gain custody of their children in family court, regardless of wether or not they’re the better parent. This assumption of moms being by default the “domestic” parent hurts both women and men in many ways. Even though some countries have equal legal rights for women, there are more complex societal systems that keep women in disempowered positions. Women are more likely to be human trafficked, face abuse when they go into the military, be r*ped/sexually assaulted, be brushed off by doctors as overreacting when reporting health issues, face certain forms of undermining and emotional manipulation in relationships, have body dysmorphia or eating disorders, and much more. Obviously these are all due to unfair societal standards (that also hurt men), and we should work to change them. Inequality does not stop at legal rights. Don’t act like culture doesn’t matter. If a culture is toxic, people SHOULD work to change it, and not just be complacent because legal rights are there. (Also, if you look globally, most countries do NOT have equal rights for women.)

My male friend was horrified and hold his arm down "Don't touch her!!" and the dude was like (to my friend) "oh is she your girlfriend? If she is I'm sorry dude." And my friend said "yeah I'm her boyfriend so get out" and the creep still turned to me "Is he really your boyfriend?". My friend just pushed him away and said "don't talk to her and get out". He just apologized to my fake "boyfriend". Interesting, is when i told what happened i wasnt taken seriously and i was overreacting and the guy was just "flirting", until he saw with his own eyes the guy punching the wall next to me and ordering me. Men always think we are exaggerating or that we gave the guy "hints". I didn't know the dude from anywhere, he just took the chance i got away from the group to use the bathroom and isolated me. Hate clubs with my gut.

Only time I’ve ever seen a guy reject a girl and it’s considered a “player” move is in the movies or from actual guys saying they are playing her and are too full of themselves. Normal people take rejection and move on. Even if it kinda sucks, it’s just a rejection.

Agreed on almost every aspect of this completely and it should go the other way around as well. The one difference I could point to would be the fan girl/ sports fan comparison. For the context of fan girl that often is in the context of an individual or group of men like a boybqnd or celebrities that women have sexual attraction for. Most men (at least to my knowledge) dont have the sexual attraction for their sports team. A better example would be fangirling for a boyband being shunned but fanboying for celeberity women or a female musician pubically being accepted or encouraged hypocritically. Other than that on point.

Go in it anyways. They won’t kick you out. I’ve actually seen quite a few family bathrooms in different stores. It’s hard because if a store was set up originally one way then they have to do a major remodel which can cost a lot of money to accommodate the changing demographic which will then reflect in prices. They have to weight if they are going to get their investment back. A lot of the older stores were built in times where parents didn’t really take their kids shopping. I remember going with my mom a few times as a kids but often times we stayed home or went to my grandmas. In the times I did go, there weren’t really any kids in the grocery store. It was pretty much all adults. So there wasn’t really a need for the family restrooms. Men’s and women’s were enough

Heres some misandry that you probably didn’t know: When a woman hits a man people usually over-look it, even at times laugh. Men are rarely ever addressed when they’ve been sexual assaulted and are usually never covered as much by the media. You can buy t-shirts on amazon that say “boys are stupid throw rocks at them”. Everyone assumes we love sports. its not frowned upon to be a “man-hater”, but if you’re a “woman-hater” then you’re sexist. Theres also the Duluth model, where law enforcement have to always assume that men are guilty in any domestic abuse issue.

You're right but this shouldn't be a war on who is got bigger problems, we can all agree that society as of rn is in a more equal place than before but we still have a long way to go, both sides.

@@aspenindenial completely agree. definitely needs improvement. We need more men in colleges, more men graduating college, less work place deaths for men and lower suicide rate for men also. More government agencies that represent men. Woman have 7 federal agencies while men have 0. More reproductive rights for men. Higher child support/alimony payments from deadbeat mothers. I could go on forever.

@@randomduck2418 its not really about how people were raised but because of evolution. When men look at attractive women their dopamine receptors fire off which puts them in a really good mood. The same thing happens when they actively avoid looking at "ugly" women. Humans evolved to treat other good looking humans better than others because it helps prolong our species. Also if you didnt know beautiful people are genetically healthier. Thats why we see them as attractive and treat them better

Yes, often times we excuse women being misogynistic or men being misandrists. My mother in law for example has a lot of misogynistic views and teaches her 6 sons that they should be taken care of, and that it’s the woman’s responsibility not to antagonize them as men, tempt them, etc. nobody calls her out on it bc she’s a very feminine woman.
