Misogyny: origins of men's hatred of women

Female hate crimes, humiliation, harassment, degradation, rape and murder have been celebrated in cultures and religions for centuries as the acceptable norm. The idea that this might be wrong is a modern one. Hence the word: "misogyny".
Previn Karian discusses the psychological origins of men's hatred of women in the profound inferiority of the male brain structure that cannot relate to life (birth) or pleasure (erotic zones) as women are biologically able to. Like no other animal on the planet, the male brain obsessively destroys its own kind and kinship group, but especially women.
This bio-wiring is a psychological sickness implanted in all "civilisations". The failure to understand this has resulted in the failure of laws and even feminism to dent male aggression and its specific targeting of women.
This discussion is a necessary starter on the psychological origins of men's hate and fear of women. Until men confront their own darkness and shadow between themselves, there can be no progress in clearing out the roots of misogyny.

What you describe as the aggregate emotional effects of rejection as a 'bitterness' is what Winnicott termed 'immaturity' which is a psychological-emotional lack of development due to either deprivation or abuse. He used it first to analyse delinquency in children after World War 2 in London who had lost either family or homes and were placed in unsupervised care homes. So 'immaturity' (as indicated in my comment) is being used technically and refers to Winnicott. How that plays out in what happens to men being rejected by women requires way more space than what we have here - hence the new channel. Hope to see you there.

We, as women, have made excuses for men’s behavior way too long. Years ago, a cat broke into my small greenhouse and killed one of my goldfish. When I saw that it was the lone female, who was swollen with eggs, I knew that she was the one who was killed because she was heavy and slow with the eggs. In other words she died because she was a female, bearing young. I sat on the back steps and howled with grief, realizing my grief was not because of a dead fish but because of the total injustice of the treatment of women! Could it be that men are just waking up to the fact that all women, (or nearly all, coz there are always some exceptions), are essentially "gold diggers". Even if violence is less common with women (since men are typically stronger they can better defend themselves if that happens), it's still a gamble for them in many other ways. This is the average women's experience on one level or another and all they do its blame women. In my old neighborhood I was harassed EVERYDAY and one man even grabbed me on the train, never-mind all the times I was violated as a child by grown men, they think these are isolated experiences but they are the norm no matter what you do, no matter what you wear, nothing matters to them. I'm from a different era, or certainly my older parents were. Being groped, grabbed or shouted at was normal for me. There were no laws against it, and I was born in the late 70's. My parents didn't even raise an eyebrow when I told them what happened. Nowadays the harassment I was subjected to daily since I was in 4th grade is criminalized. I'm happy it's finally taken seriously, but there was no way I could report sexual harassment/assault apart from rape until the 2010's. Laws have changed for the better.

This really explains why my channel is able to exist and why I have been peacefully single for almost 3 years. When I think of dating, I feel drained, scared and like it is bleak. I feel it is very unlikely I will meet someone I will actually like or who will genuinely like me as a woman. Essentially, the genders are coexisting for convenience of sex, finances and children. Otherwise, after so many years, do we really like each other? I'm glad you've found contentment, that's the important thing, no matter what. My theory on why the divorce rate is so high (based on personal experience, I guess and what I have observed in others as well) is that people are put under enormous pressure to be with a person whom their friends/family agree with, as opposed to someone who actually meets their needs. My husband and I (I've been happily married since 2016) are both quite stubborn, assertive people & so when people had their little whinge that we didn't quite 'match' or 'look good together' (or whatever other petty concerns or jealousies they all carried on with), frankly, we didn't give a s**t. As far as we were concerned we were (and still are) very compatible together (in every way) and if the world doesn't understand that well f**k 'em. My husband was even disowned by his family for marrying me and when we got the email from his Mum as to why it was basically "well you wouldn't change your wedding for me on two days' notice so I don't like you anymore". People meddle so so much in other people's relationships! I saw an article recently where people were whinging online that a woman married to a basketballer was "too overweight for him" - and everyone was getting upset about that! Who cares!!! I think if we just let people choose who they actually want in the first place (even if it's someone who's a little overweight, or a different skin colour, or *gasp* do what I do and marry a geek [I'm quite sapio so I've always loved geeks]) we need to just let people be.

In my 70s, I have just realised through life experience, that men in general are more distanced from Life than women are. As a woman, I feel my connection with Earth from moment to moment, and this feeling nourishes my wellbeing like nothing else. But men on the whole seem to live in the head, abstracted from Life. Men are not in touch with the cycles of Nature, the times and seasons, whereas as a woman I am at one with these things. Because men in general are disconnected from their own source - Nature - they go haywire and behave in destructive ways. The antidote to this is for men to consciously develop their own relationship with their Source, with Nature, as the indigenous original Native American men have consciously done.

Something that recently bothered me, was at work I got angry at something that was very justifiably wrong and a man kept telling me to calm down over and over and to be nice. And then my husband said something to me that was irritating and I made a face at him, and he told me that my face was too pretty to have that look on it. Why do men think women should just be pretty and nice all the time. It really bothered me. I have three sons and I have worked very hard to teach them to be kind men and they are all very adamantly men, but they are very kind to women.

When you understand the reason, and remain aware, you can choose to act differently if necessary, so that any children will have a healthy model of behavior AND you are choosing to act in a way that helps improve a situation or move you toward what you really want, instead of being unproductive or destructive. Many men also teaching their sons to not feel, "dont cry or I'll give you something to cry about", that's the beginnings... non empathetic behaviors, etc they don't know how to regulate negative emotions, doesnt help!!! He also hated on my brother emotionally, all his life and ruined him. When raising my own. The man who helped me wasn't their biological, the bio was addicted to porn and did things without concent and by surpise. The second, raised by a Mormon father, but had divorced parents, had issues with anger and more. His step father was into incest, but also touched my SIL when she was only 14. My brothers daughter got raped by someone in day care before age three. Myself, I watch my uncle abuse my cousin at young age with physical abuse, that same cousin came for summers to my house away from his parents and sexually abused me by age nine, told me if I told he'd kill me. Honestly, I was more afraid to tell because I didn't want him to get hurt. Told my mother at age 26. There are other females I know who also have been sexually molested. Males do seem to have an issue, we wouldn't have more than 64,000 pregnancies from rape in the USA (in states who banned abortion isnt counting the state which women did get raped and had abortion) and those are only the reported rapes, not all may end up in pregnancy. Definitely the symptom of a larger problem!!

Finally!!! I have been expecting that somebody would say that men have to solve their problem - aggression, violence, disrespect - among themselves. I actually commented this to Jordan Peterson once when he said something along the line of women causing a problem in society by wanting to make a career and this resulting in boys performing poorly in education. I pointed out that men still have most power in the world - in all parliaments of the world, in most big companies. They are overwhelmingly more powerful than women. So my question was, why are men not solving the problem of young boys. If boys are unhappy at school and fail to find interest in their own future, why don't men go and help them? Why aren't they interested in becoming teachers and to get involved in the development of young boys? Men have the money and they have the majority in the parliaments. Why don't they change things? They have the means, but clearly they don't want to. It is a lame excuse to blame feminists. They are very few; some of them are loud which may make it seem that they are more than actually is the case. Feminists have little money and few seats in parliaments. Note that woman is not a synonym with feminist. Most women are not feminists. Most women know very little about actual feminist theories or ideologies. Men have resources to change how things are done in schools and universities, but apparently they rather whine about feminists than take the task of becoming teachers at school. My two cents as a farmer who has dealt with quite a few mammals and their mating habits. Very rarely if ever is mating violent towards females. Cows, horses, sheep all have mating that are dangerous for the males and they carefully dance through their various behaviours to make sure they can mount safely. Stallions can get killed by mares. I’ve seen far too many bulls with broken (yes, there is a bone) penises. Rams ask really gently if the ewes are receptive and they never pressure the girls who aren’t. It’s not in any species best interest to damage either sex.
