Reverse foiling feel like a very special secret rarity. Much harder to get, but even more satisfying to own. I own 3 to my knowledge: Serpent Night Dragon (MRL), Jinzo (PSV), and Blue-Eyes White Dragon (BPT-003). Secret rare is my favorite rarity and having these feel very special to me. Imagine if they misprint the Platinum Secrets from Rarity 2 and Bonanza. That would be wild to see.

The PGD reverse foil misprints happened most likely due to the shift from “Magic” to “Spell” cards. There are 2 unlimited prints of PGD and I have seen a video of the reverse Lava Golem coming from an unlimited “Spell” pack 3:47

I actually remember buying one of those god card binders back around 2011 because as a kid all we wanted were the god card promos. My packs were loaded though and came with a CED from IOC, D.D. Warrior lady, goblin attack force, and a magic cylinder which I didn’t realize until a few months ago that it was reverse foil!

English only, sadly :( I wish you included other languages as well, french for instance. The german unlimited LOB tri Horned Dragon is pretty rare, Gaia the Dragon Champion even more so (and they always come with shifted names).

Great analysis Omar, I'm from Europe and I agree with your opinion on european misprints. I'm also pretty sure, that LOB and especially MRD had the reverse foil in the normal print run. You can find a lot more gate guardians in reverse foiling and the sellers use the knowledge on NA reverse foiling to fetch out a higher premium on their EU copies, which annoys me a lot. Thanks for your insights, great video as always.

Are there even regular foiled EU 1st Gate Guardians out there? Can't find a single one on the market which is the case for Thousand Dragon

@@pain8712 I'm not actually sure tbh, but I doubt it. Either it's very scarce or it doesn't exist. It only applies to european english which is very strange to me. Other foreign languages have 99% regular foiling (german,french). The european release date was july 11th 2003 for english and german (acc. to yugipedia) printed in Belgium, but somehow they managed to print all english copies in reverse and all german in normal. Also, unboxings on YT for the 1st ed EU english are impossible to find.

Reverse foil serpent dragon is pulled from the 2003 tins (non-reverse tins). Ruxin and Vintage pulled theirs on KZbin. I believe Gate Guardian is MRD unlim booster box.

@@StrictlySealed Sure the title of the Ruxin video is “This Dark Magician Tin Opening Was INSANE” and he posted it on August 8 2022. The title of the Vintage Yugioh video is “Yu-Gi-Oh! 2003 Old School Tin Opening!!! Secret Pulled!! Nostalgic.” And it was uploaded April 24th 2018. Also I have a reverse + no name no imprint Thousand Dragon graded by PSA and recently sold my PSA 9 reverse gate guardian 🥲. Keep up the dope content 👍🏾

Hey man. I think you missed some Revers Foils. in German there exists (I think in Italian aswell and maybe the others European languages) reverse secret rares from the LOB set in unlimited LOB-G000, LOB-G102. These are really really rare. since i started collecting back in 2016 I just saw 1 copy of each for sale. Regular European Reverse Secrets with -E in code are not really rare and aren’t really collectible like you mentioned.

Yes. Gaia, Thousand Dragon and Serpent Night are all retail secrets so they come out of the tins. However LOB and MRD got boxes with reverses as well. Thanks for viewing the videos.
