What a fascinating and different angle - I never heard about much of this information. Great video. P.S. I just received your book today - excited!! It’s a good-looking one, as well, and chunky! I should be able to start it in about a month or so.

I'm glad you liked the video! It's so frustrating to me when people pass along false and decontextualized quotations. The least they could do is cite the actual source instead of just providing the name of the person who said it, or supposedly said it. I hope you enjoy the book! When I read back through it, it's obvious I wrote it during three distinct periods during my development as a writer (early teens, late teens, early twenties), but that might not be as noticeable to someone unfamiliar with the history behind it.

fabricationgs, forgeries, editing errors, translation issues etc are all so interesting to me. Theres an amazing NT Scholar who painstakingly goes through all the errors in the bible from these categories. His name is Bart Ehrman I believe. This stuff always fascinates me as much as it frustrates me!

It can kind of be like a rabbit hole, with one quick investigation turning into a long period of research, or looking up more and more quotes or mistranslations.
