Averie, Thank you soo much for vlogging. It's the first pageant I've missed seeing in 50 years. Thanks to you, I got introduced to many of the candidates. Congrats on all of your scholarship winnings. It's only happened a few times in the past where a runner up has won more scholarship monies than someone who placed higher than them in the final result. I already know you will be a household name one day soon. Congratulations!

You were so amazing! But Averie, I disagreed vehemently with the way the MAO scheduled things so that the contestants were unable to get adequate rest; that seems really unnecessary and even punitive. I’m sure the New York trip was fun but it was an added stress before the competition that increased the fatigue factor. You handled it beautifully but I hope they re-think their scheduling in the future.
