Omg what a backward mentality you have. The reservation is given not because we have less brain period 😂. The general tribes have always had an upper hand in making backdoor appointment. The majority of the bureaucrats in both Directorates and Secretariat were all from general tribes and they made khushi khushi appointments of their tribes/relatives/villagers since 1963. It was like 80 % jobs were reserved for them. Now that the backdoor appointment system has come to a halt with the constitution of NSSB and strict conduct of exam by NPSC, they can no longer enjoy this special privilege. Subsequently they are resorting now to submitting the Memorandum to state government to scrap the present reservation. Putting out the statistics of tribe wise backdoor appointments since 1963 in the public domain would shut some of the barking mouths here and beyond. And read this why reservation was there in the first place: There is reservation in Government jobs and educational Institutions for any community who are socio educationally backward but nothing can be done for those mentally backward people. The reservation recognizes the fact that everyone does not start from the same point. For instance, in a race, Mr A starts running in morning and Mr B at noon, so time gap between them is being taken into account in the form of compensatory mechanism. It also recognizes the fact that merit itself is a product of environmental privileges. Apparently most of the mentally backward people might have likely graduated from the WhatsApp University 😄
