Jessie, she's only 18 and her ability to articulate I found to be very sophisticated. I'm reckoning at least 120. Besides, what evidence do you have that shows she's not very bright?? How well would you or just the average person maintain composure under such a stressful event with lights, cameras flashing on you and millions of people watching and judging??? Maybe, how one deals with stress may be a component in IQ, then if true, then you have a case.

+PammyWammy answer: american educational system lowering standards to ensure a constant passing rate. one thought: gw bush graduated from yale. in europe, he would have failed middle school. he would have been on the short bus to school every day and there would have been attendants paid to wipe off the drool from his chin. i have taught chemistry at the university level in the us - at one of the best state universities in the nation. most students couldn't write a proper sentence if it was a bit more complex than subject + verb + complement. forget conjunction, subjunctive, etc. american students are amongst the dumbest students i've even taught to in my life, and that include teaching in lagos, hanoi and lima.

Because look at her, she has the mental capacity of a rock. This interview proves that she isn't just ignorant and she wasn't just nervous when she answered that question. There is no amount of education that is going to repair this woman's severely deficient brain. Ok, that may not be true. I'm sure that even her brain is capable of growing, but I doubt it could really help enough to give her a future as anything but a housewife. Even that might be too much for her, though. I'd have a fire extinguisher in every room.
