Pr3ppie that’s subjective. By scale this was bigger and had used the stage efficiently than 1987 especially with the backdrop of the Great Wall tower. The scene changed dramatically when filled and provided more backdrops that display its culture. 1987 had a massive lion but didn’t use it to its advantage, it was just crowded.. nice try

For this edition, the camera avoided to focus on the top ten.. But notables are: KOREA AND THAILAND always in front. COLOMBIA, VENEZUELA AND USA were given time to shine in front also.. Knowing that you're always in front is a big advantage as you will always have airtime and the camera can focus on you as well..

Estas eran las mejores producciones de Miss Universo , las chicas muy naturales. Los de ahora son tan aburridos, la tecnologia empeora muchas cosas, hoy dia las chicas solo estan pegadas de sus celulares haciendo lives, modelando en los pasillos del hotel, y son tan artificiales y posadas. Nada como esta epoca de los 80 y 90 donde si valia la pena ver el concurso, sin mencionar la elegancia de los presentadores, ahora tenemos al ridiculo del Steve Harley.

Interesting observation: did anyone notice that for the entirety of the choreography (both before and after the parade of nations), Miss Israel literally never moved from her spot on the extreme top left corner of the stage? She’s just there while everyone else is moving along. What’s up with that.

From start to finish basically, she doesn't really participate in the dancing, hand waving, anything lol. She just stands in that exact spot, with exception to being called up on stage for the parade of nations. I can't be the only one to have noticed that. Maybe she just forgot the choreography or didn't really care.
