Just listen to the crowds and the hosts response after she delivers her answer. The crowd is chanting USA. Clearly...she was the crowd favorite and had the most applause. I'm a proud native of Hawaii and support Brooke Lee. This doesn't mean, I'm biased but despite the seriousness of the pageant, her answer was quick, honest and it was relatable. She's beautiful, elegant, a Goddess and obviously much more quick witted than the other two contestants.

I watched first Miss USA, and then now Miss Universe: a few little things I notice is Brooke Lee has good manners: she said thank you to the man who held the door in the Miss USA Final 3, and now after she entered the glass room, seeing Ms. Trinidad's gown was outside, she bowed down to fix it for her. She is perhaps not the most beautiful one in the group, but she has good manners, and she is very funny. Her answers are relatable, short, to the point. She knows how to use her quick wits to her advantage. This is what I like about the good old American beauty pageant: they are not afraid to ask sensitive question.

USA deserves to win. She gave the most intelligent answer to the question. It was a very witty one because, their predecessor had problem with the organization regarding weight issues that Miss Universe 1996, Alicia Machado almost lost the crown due to weight gain. Venezuela's answer failed because she was not told that she will be given any magic/power to do so...

These women have to represent the Miss Universe pageant and meet with politicians, royalty, celebrities, and give speeches all over the world, while championing causes that will better the world. You can't do all of those things just by being pretty; you have to be smart too, and like it or not, that's the main reason there's a section in the pageant to ask questions. Face it, USA gave a brilliant answer. The best ever in Miss Universe history, really.
