Miss South Africa 2002 Vanessa Carreira and 2003 Cindy Nell are both gorgeus...They both made it into the Top 5, while Vanessa ended up 3rd runner-up, Cindy became 2nd runner-up...

The thing is for the final round question, that was a good choice since I believe that they didn't understand the word "blushed" so it was a good call for requesting for an intepreter.

I see that the delegates of miss universe are able to speak english and they have the good competences in this language. From this round, I see that every body doesn't need the translator, so it's good for them to do their duties.

It's more than just a beauty pageant - they're competing for a lucrative job. That is something that many pageant fans fail to realize year in and year out, and sadly more than a few delegates each year also don't realize. Justine Pasek may not have glowed as well as Oksana on the night, but a year later there was no doubt who the real Miss Universe for 2002 was.

Daisy Fuentes could have been Miss Universe during 1990´s or 2000´s...She is beautiful and smart too. I would have liked that she would have won with the title Miss Cuba...It would have been spectacular. What do you think about this?

I thought South Africa's comment about being self-critical was the best answer to a generally loaded question of 'what's your weakness?' Panama gave another good response, but somewhat ass-kissing answer. China's broken English answer was actually pretty sweet and charming. I think she was trying to say Westerners think Chinese people are short, traditional, and quiet, but she breaks those stereotypes. Venezuela's answer was kinda jumbled. Russia just look and sounded so calm and in control.

la pregunta a panama fue que pais le gustaria representar en este concurso y porque. La respuesta fue: que le gustaria representar Pto Rico porque desde que llegó al pais la han tratado muy bien y se ha sentido como en casa (obvio que la respuesta no es tan impresionante que digamos pero fue inteligente al saber decir algo que el publico aplaudiera y de esta manera tratar de ganar algunos puntitos con el jurado) a Rusia la preguta fue si su vida fuera grabada que borraria y que reproduciría..

Am i criticizing her? NO! Someone else did and I believe you should look carefully who else did. I still think she did extremely great regardless how bad her English is. And I am not from Anglo Speaking country btw and I speak 7 languages equally fluently so safe the points to someone else who critisize her at the first place. Furthermore she is placed in top 5 so why would I criticize her for that?

SOUTH AFRICA is hermosa pero era un tanto arrogante, Venezuela es hermosa pero le faltaba mas en sus respuestas, China siempre tenia de todo un poco para ubicarse en el medio, y definitivamente Rusia y Panama dieron las mejores respuestas.

Venezuela, ooks, to me at least,to have a similarity with Natalie Glebova. It was really unfair & disappointing they dethroned Oxana.Not that I hav somthng against Justine Pasek.4 Justine,mybe it was not that fulfilling to be Ms Universe jst bcoz d winnr was dethrond.Maybe a reason why she did not wear d crown during the pageant's edition d ff year. But d unfair & disappointing part is magnified knowing that Miss Universe Org has given second chances to other title holders except Russia.

la de venezuela parece una cacatua con mezcla de cotorro con ese peinado.. no se q hacia en el top 5.. las mejores son russia (por supuesto , simpatica, segura, hernosa, guapa ) china ( bellezza antigua como de los dibujos de la china antigua jaja.. una belleza unica ) y panamá ( linda y guapa)

When I was watching this pageant seven years ago, I was really sure the inclusion of China was a joke. She had a big waistline combined with not-that-wide hips and a pair of thin not sexy legs. Plus she had that square face. That collar seemed choking her. And overall, she was stiff. I will always wonder how she made it that far w/ d best answrs probably politics (seeking good relations w/ China), economics (td growing Chinese market), or maybe to entice China to join pageants. Profit, You know.
