I need to hear Irene's side because the costume was so bad, I have a personal beef with the spandex shorts she was wearing. Imagine someone's outfit when closed was a whole traditional hut! That's what she was up against.

I also made a video about the costume because I was so shocked about how bad and inappropriate it looked. I know Kenyans are so creative and inspirational. If the organization and her made that mistake, then it's so disappointing.

@@NansyIdeas603 Even Zimbabwe was not giving Zimbabwe, her costume was ethereal. I think Botswana could have also gone all out, the item was a bit too simple compared to the rest. I’m willing to give Irene the benefit of the doubt, especially since the budget for the design was only 100k, which honestly seems a bit tight for a project of this scale. The AI-generated design itself was quite impressive. With better resources, they could have hired a more experienced designer to bring it to life. it’s possible the organization was trying to stick to a tight budget. I blame the government! This is exactly the kind of project the Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs should be funding, to ensure that they get the support they need.

Representing your country is a collective effort and one should do it with pride. I have watched numerous videos from different sources. And after being objective and gathering my sources.... Eish, I think your representative was of the opinion that she knew it all and did not need advise from anyone. Well, let's just say it back fired. A huge lesson to be learnt.
