Oh my God she is so beautiful, warm and well spoken. Out of the Top 5 she was the one I saw as Miss Universe. She possesses all the qualities a Miss Universe should have. My favourite Miss Puerto Rico ever 🇵🇷

Yayyyy, finally there's someone on the same note with me. I spotted her at the very beginning and crowned her already but I wanted to be on the conservative side and let other contestants to reveal themselves. Sure enough, she proved to me or at least both of us to be the one deserving this crown the most. Unfotunately she was not even in the top 3. Very disappointed with the judging panel.

@@geeunit831 Exactly! So what went wrong? That's why people were angry and frustrated. No offense to other beautiful contestants but this is a very tight race. We want to crown the unique outstanding one, not well-rounded so so Ok person. Either she's top 1% in her profession, top 1% in her physical beauty, top 1% in charismatic spoke person who can advocate and has stronger voice from her own inner strength. Today's world, best look speaks volume. That's why "hot girls" have more influences in social media than a MU, even though we don't judge a book over its cover. It's a very hypocrite world !

@@minhchau4533 I already explained what I think happened. I said I think the Selection Committee got it wrong. They are human and they can make mistakes. They also have a short amount of time to make crucial decisions when judging Q&A. Also some of the panel don't have english as their first language so some of what's being said can easily be lost in translation. Miss universe is a good mix of looks, personality, confidence, performance, strong advocacies and someone who can use their platform to communicate the organisations messages through their various channels. I believe Ashley has all of these qualities it just wasn't her time. Not to take anything away from R'bonney either, I believe she deserved to win. She was flawless in every facet of competition.

@@geeunit831 Finally, so glad to hear that you admitted of the mistake in judging. It would bring peace of mind and justice to the people over the world. I mirrored their anger and cry over the "injustice". But I have fed you and public so many times of the top finalists but was ignored completely. So it was a calculated mistake, not genuine. It's over now so we should move on but this is considered a fix for the judging problems in general for most of the beauty pageants out there. I didn't care much about those beauty pageants except in recent years under the pandemic. People have more time to reflect and prepare, try harder to win which make the judging even more crucial than ever. As for RBonney, she's truly a go-getter person, so fiery like the burning torches, so she should get the crown to cool off the fire :) Cheers!

Thumbs up for MIss Puerto Rico this year. I have followed MU since the late 1980s and she's the second beauty of all (representing Puerto Rico). The first was Miss Universe 1993 Danayara Torres who's also the ex-wife of Puerto Rican born famous singer Marc Anthony. Ashley Carino nailed this interview. Did you notice how sharp, concise and genuine her answers were that she was asked the most number of questions? Others ran out of time for 1 question. She brought out her uniqueness in such a way that how many young girls at such a young age love to look at the sky and have wanted to travel into the universe? More importantly Ashley got her feet into the field of aerospace engineering and realizing her dreams and goals. It's very impressive! How could the judges let a star like Ashley Carino slipped away? My top 3 were completely missed including Ashley as Miss Puerto Rico, Miss Curacao (these 2 were among the top 5) and Miss Vietnam even though they kept saying that Miss Vietnam only has the looks and nothing else, no inspiring stories and "hidden talents". RBonney has gymnastic training and performed with fires as her hidden talent. That's great, isn't it? :) Wish Ashley Carino the best wishes and to become one of the leading engineers in her profession then MUO would regret of their mistakes, letting go such an extra-ordinary beauty queen and super brainer. Oh well, everyone makes mistakes :)
