Why do you need his approval that much? I think he is free to take the issue as he sees it. She is an amazing girl, she broke the barrier for black girls who wish to be in her shoes, but it is not for him because he is white, he doesn't need to join the noise because it doesn't affect him in any special way like me and other black people. As a black person I think we shouldn't always push for other people to give us credit or praise us just because majority of us says so. Honestly he is free to say what he wants or refuse to do what he doesn't want to do. Furthermore we blacks should just accept that not everyone is fond of us just like we are not fond of other people and their issues.
