Lu Parker represented the US very well later that year at the Miss Universe pageant, however, Pat Southall should have won it all!

I remember this pageant. Pat Southall should've won and I think she also would've won Miss Universe. Pat didn't win Miss USA, but she won the husband prize (Martin Lawrence and Emmitt Smith). Also, a pre-Young and the Restless Jennifer Gareis (Miss NY), who looked alot different here than she did on Y&R three years later.
