Miss Violet Zoomies, Mr Yellow is Back and Lure Coursing fun in the Rain

Poor Banjo became unwell on the bus ride down. He took it easy and hung out on the front seat at the stops. He’s feeling a lot better tonight, he ate all his dinner and is tucked into bed. Hoping that’s all it was for him.
Arthur the Groodle has been working hard on his training, you might remember he was really battling his owner at the stops. Now he is mastering a calm and patient sit for his mum. Well done Arthur and mum.
At the farm, the Staffy sisters have their raincoats on. There’s been a lot of rain. They’re not overly impressed by the weather and paddock conditions.
During lure, Shadow is working on her level of involvement. She tried lure last week and really liked it. She’s gone through all kinds of stages with lure. Focusing on the excited dogs not the game, then removing herself completely from the game, then trying her paw at actually playing the game and now realising she likes it.
She looks for guidance constantly, and receives it well. Looks like we might have a new lure lover.
After lure, she’s off chasing birds in the playground, another favourite activity of hers.
Mr Yellow is back. He’s happy to be reunited with all his old mates. Frolicking around with the puppies and the Staffy sisters.
Miss Violet does some funny zoomies through the leaves and over the slippery dam liner. The sun is out so she has a big burst of energy.

Miss Violet looks fabulous in her new coat. I think she was super happy today because she knows she’s in her forever home and who can blame her. Poor Banjo. Sorry you not feeling well little man. Watching the owners get the chance to work with their dogs under Uncle Luke's supervision is really cool. To see how he can help them sharpen the skills those beautiful doggos have is amazing and fun to watch. when I first saw him, I thought Banjo didn't look great, the poor love. hope his tum has settled now. Violet never fails to raise a smile. That coat is great for her. She reminds me of little badger - loves food, playful, inquisitive but poor-sighted! Shame that Mr Yellow's adoption either didn't go thru or is delayed. Shadow is doing so well. Her enrichment knows no bounds and it's so great to see her living life as part of an energetic pack. I adore Lily's "stick prancing". She's so gentle and unassuming. It must be stressful for Uncle Luke to have to get up early (earlier) to drive the bus-he and Aunty Sam already have so many family and farm responsibilities-but he seems to enjoy the greetings he gets from his canine charges. I enjoy the interaction he has with the pet parents and to see some of them to put faces with the tails, and their comments on the videos of the dogs is interesting to hear. I know that many daycare facilities have nanny cams that clients can watch, but how great is it that Sam, Luke, Adam and Jason (sorry if I'm leaving anyone out) shoot throughout the day and wonderfully edited videos are published to KZbin daily-sometimes two? I think it's Aunty Sam who does the editing, but there might be elves and/or human staff behind the scenes helping out. It's also a treat to see the family time ones. Thank you for sharing and for caring so much about every dog who sets paw on the farm. 🐾❤🐾

I think that's a good possibility, it could just be a bug maybe...but I know from experience that dogs do suffer from travel sickness sometimes.

I remember feeling a bit uncomfortable, slightly dizzy in driving around Sydney from Ashfield to Paramatta as a visitor. Felt like a hill-drive experience. @Spike it is just another name for a crawfish. In the south we hv crawfish boils all the time. I myself don’t like them but I’m probably the only one!! Lol. Looks like a very small lobster and you cook them like if you were having a shrimp boil. Other names crayfish, crawdads, mudbugs, ditchbugs, freshwater lobsters, mountain lobsters, and yabbies. It’s also just a “southern saying!!”

And I have fallen in love with every single amazing dog at the Farm, and the loving amazing family who lives with these four legged critters, and brings in visiting dogs, along with shelter dogs for getting those dogs ready for a well lived, and loved life.
