I’m so glad your scrappy-along will continue next year! Yes, I’m participating in the 12 Cast-ons this (next?) year. My list is predominantly made up of sweaters… I am retiring in four months so I should have the time. I hope to, anyway. I keep getting told I’ll be busier than ever! Beautiful finished projects, as ever. Have fun!

What lovely items you have made, Ange. I will definitely be joining in the scrap MAL next year - I might even get around to putting entries in! As always, it will be socks, blankets for donation (both for humans and animals) and hats for donation. I have learned not to step outside my safe little comfort zone of things that I can make without stress and with no time limits. On a personal note, you looked very nice with make up on, but I am an old-fashioned no make up look kind of woman, and I missed your normal beautiful face. Jinny

I made some socks recently that aren't exactly scrappy, because I hadn't used the yarns before, but they were mini skeins. I did vanilla socks while doing some random simple colourwork and it was so much fun! They definitely aren't the colours I normally use but I ended up really loving them. I love seeing what you've been working on - it's so inspiring to see what other people knit!
