Loving this series! I got rid of all my big palettes last week. I never reached for them over my smaller palettes, they were old and taking up so much space! The only reason I was keeping them was to have them 🤷‍♀️ actually felt very freeing!

Ohhhhh I’ve got so many of those UD palettes brand new and untouched! Lorac palettes, American drugstore stuff. Ad man’s dream!!! 😱 I should probably follow your lead and get rid, because I literally can’t tell you when was the last time I wore makeup, let alone eyeshadow!!!

I have a feeling that part of the reason sleek were so big at the time cos they did bright colours that paid off good on darker skin tones at a cheap price. I could be wrong but I’m sure that was part of it.

I think you’re right.. and they came up in a time where the bar was really low for eyeshadows in general. Formulas are infinitely better now

The Wild West Palette has 2 blue/green colors, Out of 12. 😂 Sorry for giving you a hard time, it’s not you! I do a majority of makeup lovers, have loss their minds, though. This is crossing the world, where a person findings 1 colorful shade in a palette and making it sound like the palette is mostly that color. I have been closely following makeup trends throughout the years and I can’t remember another time when people were so adverse to color, that one or 2 pans ruin the whole palette, and that whatever that color maybe, it becomes part of the title in our minds.

You’re misunderstanding me. The goal here was only to keep what I would use and I never ever wear blue eyeshadow. So since I already have multiple other neutral palettes, in this case, 2 blue shadows is a significant reason to axe this one over another

@@MissBudgetBeauty I wasn’t necessarily talking about your decision. I totally understand why you chose to declutter it. I was just mentioning a phenomenon I’m noticing amount Influencers in general. For example, a young lady was excited to review her new Purple palette. I love purple, and I had not seen this palette yet, so when she showed it and it had two purples I was like, huh? It was a neutral palettes with a hint of purple. Sorry for any misunderstanding. I really enjoyed your declutter and listening to what you think about to come up with a final decision.

I’m getting tired of palettes giving the same colors. Some palettes literally feel like every second color is the same. It’s annoying. Even for $20 like come on.

You did better than I could, I have lots of palettes and I'm not getting rid of any of them. I just love them too much. I actually have a few viseart palettes because they make smaller, less expensive ones for normal makeup consumers and those big plastic ones are their makeup artist range.

I love viseart. One of my favorites. I seen they are having a sale so I checked out their site. They came out with complexion products that I haven’t heard anything about.
