Mikhila, I haven't expected makeup videos or reviews from you since you changed the name of your channel from Miss Budget Beauty to Mikhila Talks. Anyone new to you wouldn't expect your channel to be about beauty either I don't think. I enjoy watching your channels to catch up on what you are up to, whatever it may be. Quite happy with your content and would miss you if you were gone. If you include some reviews of new products that's great as I have purchased a couple of things that you have recommended. I do enjoy your videos about your business and also travel videos whether they are os or local. You do you boo.

My jumbled thoughts while I have 2 mins without the baby!! As some others have said, lots of people have grown with you and can relate. I’ve only followed for a couple of years but am a similar age, and used to be obsessed with makeup. I now just enjoy it when I get the chance, but day to day I wear light makeup and always the same. Makeup trends have changed and 10 years ago, full makeup was the trend but now it’s about skin and less makeup. In the 2-3 years I’ve followed, I’ve never had the expectation that this is a ‘makeup channel’. I like that you’re just normal and relatable and I like your chats. I’m much bigger than you but still watch your fashion related videos. I love the vlogs. If you’re buying new makeup occasionally, show us and review it that’s great. But don’t go buying things you don’t want! Maybe you could do a poll or something to see what types of videos your audience enjoy. I have followed other KZbinrs for years (eg Anna edit) and loved all their makeup content but now they’ve gone more fashion and lifestyle, I find they aren’t relatable. I enjoy your videos and will continue to watch. I feel like we’re mates and I like that! ❤️

I’m here for a middle aged woman KZbin experience or whatever you’d like to chat about. Over the years I’ve loved your channel in all its forms and will continue to do so . BTW don’t beat yourself up about the sweat tops and leggings fashion choice. Truth be told I wear my jammies all day at least 3 times a week. It’s great that I no longer have children who live at home or require the drop off or pick up service that was central to my days. Anywho, take your time to choose your next incarnation. I for one am glad your not leaving KZbin. I enjoy watching most of your videos as your honest with your reviews & with daily life struggles. I've never been one for the make up content as I don't bother with. I don't think you'll lose alot of people as you've been more then make up for a while now. 😊

My own watching preferences have changed a huge amount, I would never sit and watch a full makeup review now, in the past I consumed this content and made many purchases because of reviews. I still love an empties, what I’m loving type video and LOVE a vlog so I’m so glad to hear that you will still be doing these. It’s definitely about the person you are watching too and I’ve literally watched your paint drying 😂, stay being you always and do what makes your heart sing ❤

I think and I can’t speak for everyone, but for myself, this video made me realize more about how I spend my time and what time I give to things that I don’t have passion for anymore. As we age we do need to change because that’s just what life is about, you realize that was important isn’t really that important anymore or it shifted. I quit my job of seven years because I just needed a change. I wasn’t happy there anymore. I wasn’t happy with myself anymore. I have realized that I spent the first 48 years of my life doing things that weren’t necessarily for me. I enjoyed raising my children and I’ve enjoyed being married to my husband, but I feel like in this stage in my life I don’t know who I am. So I’ve decided that I’m gonna focus on me. My kids are grown. My marriage is good, and I’m gonna be the best version of myself for myself going forward. Because if I stay in this spot and continue to live the life that I’m living, I will truly never be the best version of myself so I can’t give to anybody else until I can give to me. I commend you for evolving and changing and I look so forward to the content that you are going to create this next phase of your life. I have watched your videos for so long back to the crazy hair colors and Ella being little you didn’t even have Milo all the way to now and I have enjoyed every phase of that including the purchase of your book so shine bright live the best damn life you can live, I will still watch. I’m going nowhere just finding myself along the way so thank you for this video and normalizing change yourself.

I wish there was a way to know the age range of your viewers! I’ve been watching for what feels like a lifetime and I’ll be 49! I enjoy your videos so much but I don’t find myself missing all that! I enjoy candles and home and garden things. The chit chatty things. With aging comes change and I’m here for it!

I personally rarely watch this channel for me your vlog channel is your main channel. I will watch if its a chatty video or q&a. I cant burn candles because i have pets that it effects but the making and creating side really interests me

I’m hoping you will stay, I’ve been here for far longer than I care to admit watching and feel like I’ve gone through a lot of my adult life with you and you’re videos. From my perspective I feel like you’ve done a very realistic and honest journey of showing how your channel has changed and grown and moved forward. As others have said, I watch now for you, it’s like having a catch up with a long distance friend.

I used to love makeup videos. It's how I learned to do a lot of different looks. But similarly, I rarely do loads of eyeshadow and sculpting anymore. Just do a little bit to freshen up now and then. I've not been watching a lot of makeup videos for a long time because of it I also need to condense my small collection. Just keep a few things for if I ever dress up or want to do something bold 😄

Really appreciated hearing your perspective and thoughts in this video! You are one of my favourite, if not my favourite KZbinr and I think it's never been because of the particular type of content you post but it is because of who you are as a person. You are real and inspiring and yeah just really wanted to comment to say thank you. Also to say that I've always loved your vlogs and chatty videos, love your vlog channel, makeup has never been my thing anyway haha. But I definitely agree it should be what you are interested in doing and what you want to share and talk about and I think it always comes over better when someone is passionate about the content they are making.

I think it's just part of getting old and evolving in where we want to put our energy on! I found you years ago because I was loving makeup and nail polish and trying new stuff and hair... and now I'm 42, I still love make up, nails and hair stuf but I'm very selective and don't go crazy like I used to. This is also very refreshing as a viewer because it shows that the content you put out is more authentic and reflects the person that you have become

I second another commenter, In that im subscribed to both channels and have never noticed which videos come from which channel, I just enjoy your videos. I didn’t realise this was your original MBB channel! If anything vlogs/chatty random videos are my preferred ones of yours but I still watch your beauty videos too. You have to do what’s right for you , I think merging everything into one channel is sometimes a better idea then people can pick and choose which videos to watch.

I have to admit I found you because of this channel.... But have been loving your vlogs more recently! I love both your channels for what you talk about, whether thats candles, travel, beauty or getting hit in the face with a bin lid (sorry for the reminder). I've said this before, but its your authenticity and views on life that appeal. The beauty of humans is how multifaceted we are and the experiences we have had. As for the whole affiliate / ads thing, ive always been pro content creators earning £ on videos - after all, you've spent the time creating the content and we watch it for free. (and always have good recommendations )

I started watching KZbin when I was 24 and got cancer for the first time. Part of my treatment gave me really bad acne and I was so self conscious about it that I looked for videos on helping to hide it. That’s how I found your channel. I’m now 41 and give zero shits about makeup tips but I’ve stuck with the creators I enjoy watching whatever they post. Feels like we have grown up all together and our interests have changed too. Also our financial situation is different so budget beauty also has less attraction than it used to have. Personally I’m interested in what you have to say ( in a non creepy way) so will keep watching and interacting for as long as you decide to post for 😊 xx

Yours is the only content channel that was originally a beauty channel that I still watch and that’s because of you. We’re a similar age which for me isn’t super represented on Instagram or tiktok. I’m here for you and because (and I don’t mean this in a weird way) you feel like someone I could be friends with rather than a completely unrelateable influencer.

I started watching you because of the make up but now I actually enjoy your vlogs and other content more. I'm the same age as you and I think there's a point where it's like you stop running at a million miles an hour to keep up with everyone else. Maybe you're at that point too? Even if you do lose viewers, if you're doing what you enjoy, you'll gain new viewers. People enjoy watching passionate people, I don't think the content really matters

As a 61 year old I totally get where you are coming from. You are not the same person you were when you created this channel, we all change and evolve and you are in a different chapter of your life now. I love KZbin and watch a lot of content, I don’t know how long I have been subscribed to your channel for but I have to say that you are one of the few that I am still subscribed to from when I first started watching KZbin, granted I don’t watch all of your videos I dip in and out but what I do watch I enjoy, I think because you are very real and not trying to be something you are not. I’m subscribed to both your channels and honestly… I never knew why there were 2 😂. I don’t watch your vlogs for any reason apart from you. Nobody stays the same and that’s just the way it is. I have never ever expected anything other than an eclectic mix of ‘Life’ and that’s why I keep watching. Just talk about what yo want to talk about, show what you want to show and just enjoy it! The worst thing you could do is lose your authentic content and for me, that’s why I’m still subscribed. 😊

If you want to stop posting to this channel and just do vlogs on your other channel it doesn't put me up nor down because I subscribed to both anyway. I only request that you don't delete all your videos because if I ever want to look back on something I'll be annoyed if I can't find it 😂

I started watching you as Miss budget Beauty and your make-up storage organisation but that’s not why I watch you now we’ve grown with you as an audience and I’m interested in you and your life and whatever that maybe I am more interested in what make up you are finding And wearing now then the top 10 cheapest for example I don’t watch for make-up videos specifically.

I think a lot of us who have followed you for a long time aren’t so much looking for the same things that this channel used to be about either. New make up/full on make up isn’t as exciting to me as it used to be either. I’ll always, always be a skincare person, but I don’t wear or buy half the make up that I used to as I’m getting older and I’m more aware of what suits/doesn’t suit my skin Life is too short to keep doing something that isn’t fun anymore. I love your vlogs, and will always watch those as long as you want to post them. Whatever you do with this channel going forward I hope it sparks some joy
