My issue with lipsticks is they are either too light or too dark. I usually wipe them down to a stain if they are too dark and if too light I use them to lighten darker shades.

Aren't we stupid for making our lives harder for no reason?!😨 General rule of thumb, people will not go out of their way to make their lives more difficult if there's an easier option available. If we darker girls just bought the colors that worked with our skin tone, the only available options would be dark red, brown, and plum lipstick. That's so boring and it ensures you won't have much variety in the types of makeup looks you do. Rather than forcing ourselves to stick to only three colors, we just use a little $1 lip liner so we can wear whatever color we want. What's the problem with that?

The icey eyeshadow and brown or nude lip is ALWAYS a slay ! Always! Especially when it's done correctly with shades that match ur skin tone. It’s all about using the liner to adjust the shade for your own skin tone. I have found this between me and my friends. One lipstick it too light for me, but looks good on them, or vise versa, etc. But lip liner can make it work and save the day!! You made it look great! 🎉
