Dear Debbie, I found a cheap idea for the furniture legs: I take the cardboard rolls from the toilet paper and fill them with plaster, at the top I sink a screw with the head so that the thread peeks out at the top, this together with hot glue holds the legs super well. The cardboard roll you can decorate as you want, even just black paint looks good.

These are great ideas. I’ve been puzzling over how to organize things that go in small drawers without spending a fortune on plastic drawers. I like these cardboard crafted box tables Then I can customize for my personal needs. I am looking forward to using paint and decoupage to decorate them. Clever and well done. Thanks for sharing

Very nicely done. I think I will make one of these for a friend who travels a lot. How do you decide which glue to use? And I also don’t see you use a glue gun very often which I understand can be lumpy when using paper after it dries. I usually use mod podge. Thanks

Suggestion, try putting hot glue in the holes before adding the legs. It will help keep that area supported and it won't strip out later.

Yes I was thinking the legs might adhere better directly to the cardboard instead of the contact paper. I’d put the contact paper on and then trace the legs shape around it on the surface and then just cut out something maybe the size of a quarter or so, so hot glue has something porous and not slick to stick to.
