Important note, as mentioned in the video, 4th shot is an execute (dealing missing max health %dmg). always try to use Q BEFORE 4th shot as this will ensure to deal max dmg possible. it matters way more than you’d think

Worst bit is renekton isn't even that tanky of a champion. Stuff like ornn, malphite, zac and sej dont take any damage. Its the only reason why I don't blind pick jhin anymore

You show jhin autoing renekton to demonstrate that he's OK against tanks. 1. Renekton isn't a tank, he doesn't stack armor items 2. Eve got the kill with an 800 damage ult 3. Jhin had 5 seconds to free fire and generously did ~3000 damage. Without Eve, Renekton is still alive and Jhin would be reloading for 2.5 seconds. This would be a grand total of ~400 DPS, which is pathetic. Jhin cannot build Kraken slayer or Botrk. He can't run lethal tempo. He may be OK against tanks by virtue of being an ADC, but he is without question the worst ADC against tanks.

he can build both those items, and he can take hail of blades to make his damage against tanks even better than it is. the issue is that the jhin main community is in love with galeforce even though it is far from the most optimal mythic for him. having a 400 true dmg proc on the 3rd auto is humungous and the total bonus ad you get from kraken slayer is about 100 extra ad over every other mythic he builds. this translates into more ms on crit and if it is paired with HoB it is even larger of a boost after first auto. and with the nice lovely IE changes, jhin can actually change his build up a lot more since his 4th is always a guaranteed crit, so Botrk is infact a useful item on him. 9% current health plus the giga slow and MS from the item makes it so damn easy for him to kite enemies and it makes it so you dont need to waste gold on a bloodthirster. so yes, in the context of this video. it is completely incorrect and jhin is not good against bruisers or tanks with normal build, he is infact by far the worst for it. but he can be extremely good at dealing with tanks especially because people dont expect him to kill so quick with the correct items for it.

I assume it’s still viable (how bad can it be to have a scaling damage rune? Plus Taste of Blood + Eyeball + Hunter). That will give you a little less MS and sustain than going Fleet + Bloodline, so it could depend on the matchup. I love getting the DH procs as well though!

dh is the only 'viable rune' fleet gives jhin nothing outside of early laning phase. HoB is his best rune by far but people sleep on it because 'he cant attack fast'. it gives him the most survivability, humungous busrt at all stages of the game and an absolutely insane speed boost on crit if you have a kraken slayer as well.

If jhin is good against tanks then he'd be over powered. If his single shots shred a tank that would mean he is one shotting every other role. It cant be helped. Attack speed is what adcs need for tanks and jhin is built with that fixed.
