I love this essence so much. I layer it up two or three times to really get the skin hydrated. The light, spicy scent is so delicious; I find myself cupping my hands over my nose at the end of the step to breathe it in! But it's not strong at ALL and dissipates as soon as the essence absorbs. I used to pound in the actives and neglect soothing/hydrating ingredients, but keeping your skin soothed and comfortable really creates the base you need to tolerate more potent actives. They may not be as glamorous but they might even be more important!
