Loved this episode. Fawn said don’t call this black excellence 😂. I recently discovered her from the Imani Ellis culture con podcast and bought her Happy Wives Club book which I am loving! I might have to visit the distillery soon and start drinking brown liquor.

Such a motivating convo from Dawn! Especially the perseverance talk, GOD talk and keeping the failures to yourself. Whew, a word! I hope she does come to Houston because I would love to hear from her in-person.

Thank you for this interview! It was a wonderful surprise. Her IG post today makes a lot of sense now (tequila vs bourbon). I coincidentally downloaded the audible of the book this morning and now I’ll move it up in my queue to get started asap. So many nuggets dropped in this interview, I’m sure the book is gold. #excitedtoread
