Ms Lisa Hanna I agree with you 100%. I always ask the same question. If I can be paying so much to rent an apt or a house, why is it the bank cannot give me a loan to buy the house or apt and use the same money I have been using to pay my own mortgage rather than paying for something I do not own. The banks are very uncooperative in this area, yet the minute you miss a mortgage payment they are quick to take away your house and sell it for the little that is owed to them. Govt needs to put some restrictions on these banks/ loan institutions.
