We went to Tennessee to look for the missing car that belonged to William Houghtailing. He was found floating in the lake by a fisherman. He had passed away sadly.

Since the car was upside down I doubt he would have been able to escape through the sunroof. I think the trunk popped open shortly after the car landed upside down. The car was nose down in the water.

Big thank you for continuing to go out and look for these missing souls as well as providing answers to both families and law enforcement..... I do have to give one piece of advice to give as I have many years on the law enforcement side... Taking things out of the vehicle, other than the license plate ( like the clothing in bag that Adam took from the trunk ) is a very BAD IDEA AND A BIG NO--NO thing to do. Being that any of those items could be evidence in the investigation. If that bag truly was placed over a head as Adam suggested a defense lawyer in a criminal case will say that that evidence has been either tarnished or planted because it was not properly done by a crime scene investigator and because of that it will most likely be thrown out in a court..... I am not mad or yelling at Adam's ignorance of this fact. It is just something to keep in your mind for the next search or vehicle recovery. The best approach is to touch as little as possible.. Again I am speaking from a law enforcement dive team background, and have dealt with the court / lawyer issues as the results.... In closing on a better note. I hope you all had a good day in the water and be proud of what you are doing. From up here in Michigan, have a great weekend both of you.

That's great constructive criticism. Not negativity, just explaining why it's not that good to do, then recommended something different. I thought that when he started pulling items. No need to remove things while ascertaining there isn't another body. Leave it unless otherwise instructed by law enforcement. It would be heartbreaking for the guilty to go to court then be let off because of a simple misstep by ppl just trying to help families and LE. It would prob kill the guys themselves if that ever happened because they just didn't know any different. Anyway, a compliment to your comment.

@@lindaelick6067 .. Good morning ma'am.. In the video at (9:47) Adam states that there is probably a SHOE floating somewhere around the lake. At (9:55) Adam again states that the trunk was open and he pulled "this stuff out" and starts talking about the bag.... Unless he mentions it differently somewhere else in the video that's what I was referencing. And if he does say something later on I must have missed it.... Either way. The best approach to non law enforcement people when dealing with a crime scene, is to touch little as possible. Defense lawyers love it when the untrained mess with evidence. 90 times out of 100 they can get a judge to toss it out in court claiming it was either tarnished or planted by that civilian...... Wishing you and your loved ones have a great weekend ma'am.

Terrific job Jeremy and Adam!!! Now I am curious as to what happened. One of the biggest issues I had at first was the fact that when he was found he was naked. Who drives their car around while naked? Then when Adam said all the windows were up and the trunk wide open that is suspicious too. I know the car was upside down. How long would he have had before the car turtled to get out? If he had come out the moonroof, again why would he be naked? He didn't try to save himself and start taking his clothes off before getting out of the vehicle - that doesn't make any sense. And depending on him getting a seat belt off and apparently taking his clothes off before the car landed on the bottom - would there be enough time for all of that to transpire in the first place? I truly think it sounds very suspicious. I didn't know him or if he had any issues that may have caused him to harm himself. Even if he was trying to harm himself at first but changed his mind - NAKED...you want someone to find you naked??? I hope the case is really looked into thoroughly. I will be waiting to hear what you find because this case is just not making sense to me. Much love and stay safe. Godspeed

If I was trying to survive as my car was sinking the first thing I would do is focus on getting the windows down before the pressure builds and it's impossible then the seatbelt and MAYBE taking off clothes if they are weighting me down. Whole thing definitely doesn't make much sense.

We are a small town and do not have all the necessary equipment to do such services. Great job here guys. Love the thought processes you go thru, the sonar readings, the discussing of what's what. There's so much more than most folks think. Hats off, once again. Keep doing this. 👏

Great work Jeremy and Adam by finding his car. Condolences to his family and his friends. I truly hope the investigators on this case will entertain the assumption this guy met with foul play stuffed into the boot and the car sent into the water; seeing that all windows were up but the boot wide open with clothes n shoes in it. Is that's how the naked body floated out of the car, to me that says yes and that something fishy happened to this poor guy. Please keep us updated on this case if you get any answers.

😳 Wow 🥺 What a find. Hopefully, you all just made it easier for the police to convict someone for killing that young man. Good work!! Thank you! 👍 That was the easiest pull I've ever seen.

I've watched so many of your videos. Love what y'all do! I feel like I've learned so much that I said, that tow truck shouldn't be pulling that car sideways or it will lose the chains! I was correct.

Seriously, that was the worst execution by the tow company!!! Even at the end the tow guy destroyed the front end scrapping against the Jersey Barrier 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, u could tell they had very limited experience pulling cars out of water. The guys even had to tell them to let it drain out some first. Im gonna guess it was just feom inexperience; they've prob never done it as I guess it's a very small town
