Love these old flix as they show a way of life in a gone by era. Can’t get it back but through the lens of the camera it’s a close second!

I found the most funniest line in the whole movie, is when the guy said follow the coo-pay,which is funny 🤣🤣 versus Coupe!!
@TK-jc9by Жыл бұрын
@@michaelsnider8611 Coo pay is proper French pronunciation. When it's spelled Coupé, we say coo pay. When it's spelled Coupe, we say coop.

Phil Rosen was deemed a "B" director, never directing any big-name stars of the time. He directed 18 of the Charlie Chan movies With Warner Oland and 11 films with Sidney Toler. He never got the recognition he deserved. No matter how bad the script he was given, the actors always said their lines convincingly.

Many people who leave Comments praising the older movies also complain about the utter garbage coming out of Hollyweird today. **The way to get the message across is to avoid the theaters and the video sources that offer that stuff. A loss of revenue gets the producers' attention.

In the late 90's and early 2000's this 10 digits lottery ticket frauds was at it's peak. People have just lost all their savings, taken loans from every possible way or sources. So bad was the situation. I myself was one of those affected and addicted to this with almost all around. I am talking about India specially Delhi as I was residing there.

I was too young to watch naked city!!! (4 or 5 yrs old!) But I heard the tv commercials... The only Big city I ever knew of was, NYC! We live in Connecticut, but back in the day, tv shows were done in NY. When I was 6, I heard that commercial for naked city, One Too many times!!! I had a weird dream. I dreamt of NYC, & everyone was walking around naked!!!!! hey! I was only 6.

Good watch but it gets really stupid in regards to selling illegal goods, and the dame wants to know what's wrong with that? The detective/boyfriend didn't tell her he was a detective so she wanted to know what's the difference in him not being straight and her selling illegal tickets? LOL that same ignorance is on full display these days.
