It worked! I got to a total of 5 reviews not posted. When I first emailed them, the response was to follow their guidelines. My clients reviews did not violate any of their guidelines. Every review matters, especially when you’re a small business owner. I decided to try the method in this video last week. I received a generic email on Monday. I woke up this morning and decided to check and BOOM! All 5 are there!!! Thank you so much for this video. We've recovered hundreds of reviews for our clients following a very similar method. The key is to have a screenshot of the review, be persistent, and be polite in your emails. Even though it is SUPER frustrating...it isn't the support team that deserves your frustrated remarks. It can take multiple interactions to get resolve. Great video Luc!

How are we supposed to have screen shots of the missing reviews? Are we really supposed to reach out to customers and bother and beg them to do this?? This is BAD PR for any business. I would never do this to my customers. This is nuts!! We lost 160+ legitimate reviews overnight that took us 10 years of hard work to get. No warning, no reason, no nothing. Gone. I am really hoping that we can get them back. This is sickening.

But every few weeks the same thing keeps happening and the listing gets taken down, and then I reach out to Google and go through the same thing again and again. Basically I've noticed that whenever somebody tries to hack my email account my Google Business listing gets taken down. And Google is not interested in the correlation or in doing anything to prevent it.

Once again, great video Luc. But like you said at the end of the video, it is ridiculous that Google is making us jump through these hoops. Even though your video was just over 8 minutes long, we all know that it is going to take much more of our time to submit all this information. And even with that said, there's no guarantee that the missing reviews will reappear. I'm definitely going to give this a shot when I have a little extra time on my hands because I know for a fact that I'm missing at least six reviews. Who knows how many are missing from clients that didn't let me know their review wasn't posted. Thanks again!

@@rankingacademy Here in India Google does a fantastic job, after my missing reviews complain, I got a phone call from Google support team within 24 hours and they said that a specialist team is working on it.....after 4 days, missing reviews were reinstated and a phone call was also done by Google support team asking me to check and verify if I have regained the missing reviews.

This works - Thank you. I was aware of 3 missing reviews. Using your advice, i told Google about these plus asked them to check if there were others caught in spam. Within 3 days, not only were the 3 i alerted them to made live, but an extra 15 that were spammed appeared too!

Finally I took the time to go through and request my reviews back. Thankfully I had watched this video a couple of times because when I went to now go through everything while I appreciate you speaking at a normal rate I had to stop the video a few times to search for what you said. Also I couldn't always find what you were talking about. I had to hunt through on my own. But In fairness I watch the video on my TV and I use my tablet to go ahead and complete the process. thankfully I had enough experience to understand what I was looking for I just finished everything, I sent it off fingers it works. Hello! A few months ago ago I started to work for a school and one of the ideas I got to make the school more comfortable and have more social prove was to ask for reviews to parents, but appperantly this reviews got dissabled and the school haven’t got any new reviews since 2019, do you have suggestions about how to fix this? Great video, Luc! I was curious to find out if the same tactics you showed in the video could be applied to the missing reviews after the Google account was suspended. My friend changed her name and address in GBP and her account got suspended. After she recovered the account, the reviews were gone, and was not able to get them back. Do you have any resolution ideas for situation like hers?

This was an unsuccessful thing for me. Google didn't send me any response, no missing reviews were added, and the case was marked closed by Google. I hope others have better luck relative to me!

Oh my God I cannot believe I am watching this video I literally just sent Google the nastiest response about my missing reviews I've been trying for weeks to get help. I just get more angry because any response at all is always it's my mistake I did something wrong so too bad it infuriates me. how arrogant to make that assumption. They are 16 reviews that I started to get since 2017 some of those people that reviewed me are dead and they're my only connection to a really nice relationship I had doing their hair I'm not giving up at all. I actually found all my reviews on a completely different site so they're available just not on Google not sure how to even deal with that so your information on how to do this I'm so grateful you have no idea. I'm not computer savvy but I'm the kind of individual that will not let it go. So again I'm very grateful and at the moment I've spent way too many hours today with Google so tomorrow I'm going to attempt to do every single thing you said oh and by the way I found that form that you're talking about filled it out but then again I was told how it must be my problem and I'm not going to get the reviews back I know I'm fighting with the computer but you know what, they have never met me and I will not rest until I get satisfaction.

Ever since closing my business and then reopening it, I have not been able to get any reviews to post on my business page. i already submitted a ticket already about it, and they refused to acknowledge that there is even a problem (and just acted like the spam filter caught it). I hope they don't give me the same response they did before.. Also, am I allowed to delete my business then start it from scratch again?

Hi Mark. You can't really delete a listing. If you try and you create another one at the same address with the same name it will be flagged as duplicate and you won't be able to verify it

I'm setting up a sister company, I remember uou saying not to have 2 businesses at the one address, so I've tried to set up at another address but they rejected my verification because its a household. They said i need signage. Have you any advice to get verified? Thanks for all uour help

Do customers come to visit you at the second address? If not, it needs to be set up as a service area otherwise Google will want proof this is a legitimate business. That's why they will want to see outside signage.

This is FANTASTIC information. My Google review is stuck at 33. Every time someone posts one, one drops off. Has anyone heard of that before? I've been submitting the problem to Google and all they keep replying with is send us a copy of the review in question. It is never-ending. This has been going on for over a year. We should have 70+ reviews over this period of time. And yet, we still have only 33. I personally witnessed in real time a client post a review, it went to 34, then their post disappeared and it went back to 33. Google reinstated, stayed at 33 and another review from the pat dropped off. ????? Any advice???? Please??

Yes you can, Make sure you also have utility bills, update your citations across the web, change your logo, marketing material etc first... before changing your business name

Google has told me I have 16 -5 star reviews that aren’t posted. They say they’ve been “cleared” and will be posted in a few days. That was dec 5, 2023 and three times since. It seems like the emails are from bots. Can I actually talk to someone?

I was at 46 then they moved me back to 36. The next day I got two more reviews and it showed 38 followed by 12 hours later it was set back to 36. I submitted exactly what was presented in this video and they restored me all the way up to 73 reviews. Thanks for this video it’s really helped a lot and gained a follower. 🍻

I did the missing reviews complain with screenshot given by customer. Google did reinstated missing reviews and I got back 10 missing reviews, but a problem surfaced alongside..... Earlier around 1 year ago, I had complained Google to remove two fake negative reviews and Google did remove them at that time.....now when missing reviews were published again, those two fake reviews again got published 😢.... I complained again filling up the same format, but now Google refused to remove 😢 Even I wrote in the description that earlier those reviews were removed by Google after verification. I think I have to once again seek help from the community help section that you mentioned in your 2nd part of the video. Please suggest your views too.

Hello, how are you? I’m from Brazil. I have a problem, when I search using Local Falcon (google my business analysis tool) with the keyword “hypnotherapist Belém” I get top1. Belém is the name of the city where I am. When I search only for “hypnotherapist” I appear top 8, losing to profiles much weaker than mine and even physically close and some further away.

"Hypnotherapist" is a lot more generic than "hypnotherapist Belém" meaning it will be more competitive. There are many ranking factors to take into consideration so i couldn't tell you why some of your competitors rank above you without looking at them. But to be honest, I think it's likely better to rank for "hypnotherapist Belém" At least the intend of the search is clear. People searching for hypnotherapist might be looking for generic information.
