I want Drycha the Tree Extremist. She should head her own faction- 'Wildwood' or something, that can only recruit forest spirit units.

Drycha could be appearing as the kind of character who appears if you let public order get to low as a form of rebellion if there are too many beastmen hanging around. But if you defeat her she becomes a hero or lord available to you. She gives massive buffs to all dryads but won't allow elves in her army. But she will rebel again if chaos corruption becomes to high. So a sort of high-risk, high-reward character

@The Inept General, So this is something I haven't really heard anyone touch on, but since the idea that the tree spirits already kind of function as their own race with Arwylon, why can't then Coeddil perhaps lead a faction in some great usurper arc? Maybe start where Drycha has been preparing the coup at the Drakwald?

Thanks for the great video! After hearing her story, I wonder if they're waiting to introduce Ariel to the game after they've added the High Elf and Dark Elf factions? Given that her story seems to be so intertwined with them, and with Morathi, perhaps she'll be added when the second game is released, so that her quest battles can be populated with the correct foes? In any case, all of those lords are very interesting! I kind of like the idea of Drycha's faction acting as a forest-kin faction with horde mechanics, perhaps starting off in the Drakwald, only able to recruit forest-kin units and being at war with the Wood Elves and anyone else she chooses. Could be interesting! But they'd probably have to develop some kind of alternative campaign goals for her if she did that. And perhaps starting with Araloth as a legendary lord would give you a diplomatic edge in negotiations with Bretonnian factions, seeing as they both worship the same goddess? Although that matter is probably meant to stay hush-hush :P Thanks again for the very entertaining storytelling!

I think what they should do with Naestra and Arahan is to make them a pair of separate special legendary heroes who boost each other when they're in the same army, very much like Vlad and Isabella.

Actually she did got out of that Tree. The Season of Redemption is actually the current timeline before the End Times. Of course for that we need Araloth and the Twilight Sisters as a Lord Pack. Since they are the ones that convince her to get out of that Tree and face Morghur in proper battle.

Ariel and Drycha would have been more lore friendly to leave the forest as Orion when he was not sleeping on the compost heap only did his shenanigans on the hunt. May be wrong but I think Ariel fought most of the various battles and Drycha certainly went out and stole some artefacts and killed a load of Empire dudes.

There's so many more cooler chars in wood elf lore, than the new additions. I would have wanted to see Thalandor the doomstar, Skaw the falconeer, Wychewythl the wild and Gruath the beastmaster.

True but sisters are ranged attackers so Regen would have to be directly related to damage out put or maybe just whenever they are firing

Regarding the sisters of twilight I could imagine upon falling below [arbitrary value of health] basically their firepower going to half by the one of em dying and there being a use-x-times ability that returns them to [arbitrary value of health] + 10% health thereby reviving the dead one.

I would take any other hero then orion. I don't like to play with him, but with durthru you have to play mostly with tree kin which i like even less. So i hope for a new leader!
