I have to add in that I love and appreciate every time you share things about our Lord. I went to an amazing women's conference at church last week and as I was driving to the event I thought about all the struggles in my life lately like my parents passing away, being terminally ill and the recent break in I'd had a few weeks ago while I was at home. I tend to only look at the positives but I had a sudden thought that I had better not mention these struggles in case people thought that I must be a bad person and not worthy for our God. I noted that it was a weird thought and didn't think about it until listening to the first session which was on this exact topic of that we are going to have our struggles but it makes us stronger and we are still worthy of God's love as he says to comes we are broken but perfect in His eyes. It amazes me how God speaks to us about the right thing at the right time for all of us in different ways. I normally see my lifelong illnesses as being what makes me stronger and allows me to support other people who are sick in many ways. My Dad passing only 13 months and one day after Mum did meant they were together again and that Dad died unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep. As for the burglary even though I came face to face with them the only physical harm I came to was a whack to my head which cracked a few teeth and that there wasn't much of value in the house as my parents things were either with my sister or in my drawers which they didn't get the chance to go through as I (stupidly) approached them before they had the chance to open any of my drawers and that they most likely won't come back. They did take my keepsake urns that had some of mum and dad's ashes in them most likely because they were in what would of looked liked jewellery cases. I'm not sure about any positives about that but I'm hoping that opening them and seeing they were ashes might make them realise the error of their ways and I've been praying for this to happen. Your channel brings many people together and where we gather God comes. That in itself is a great testimony of something tangible that is part of God's work. You are an exceptional family that dies God's work in so many ways. You are all regularly in my prayers. Xx

Happy Birthday Nana! Everyone is so full of joy; it makes my day to watch every chance I get! Missed Solo at home but he seemed to enjoy his trip and fun to see what he was doing in Seattle. I could mention everything I liked but since it is all of it, I'll just say I couldn't quit smiling! Your garden is looking good Sarah and being In SW Iowa, I know what you mean about the soil. We did raised beds, containers and grow bags this year and bought soil and it is doing well. I have a wonderful family now and while growing up and it is a great sadness that everyone doesn't have what we have. I used the lasagna method to improve my soil several years ago, and it was awesome! When you pull out your plants in the fall, put down a layer of cardboard over your garden area. Then layer leaves, grass clippings, and some compost like a lasagna. Water each layer as you put it down, and keep layering. By spring, most of it will break down into a beautiful soil! I made mine in October, and by the next May I was able to plant right in it! You will want to think ahead and build a pile of grass clippings over the summer. Good soil makes all the difference! This is a free way to build it! Even if you have to pay a little for compost or aged manure, it is worth it!
