Drug possession: 8 years in prison. Leaving your family behind emotionally and financially which completely breaks them apart, having them think you're dead, pretending you're someone who already passed away, living a complete lie with your new wife and kid and with that screwing them over too, mentally scarring all your 3 kids: Barely 2 years in prison. Wauw. Just wauw.

how can he just live happily for 23 years while his ex family are drowning and even after he’s caught he’s hardly punished and can’t even pay for reparations! it’s just so unfair and the absolute irony that he served 2 years for EVERYTHING while his son serves 8 years for a reason that could’ve been prevented if richard never left. it’s all just so tragic

So so sad to hear that letter written by his adult son. I can only imagine the pain those children went through. It must have been an absolute nightmare. Not to mention never having a body to bury to have closure. And then dad just reappears out of nowhere. Shocking! The lengths some humans go to escape situations instead of being just honest and upfront.

@@darrylkinslow5613 imagine growing up knowing your father is missing and presumed dead. That’s all you know. No matter how much they remember him; they still think their dads dead and have no clue what happened to him. They also saw their mother struggle through life with all the debt and raising them on her own. Then all of a sudden he’s back with a whole new family and it turns out he just didn’t want you anymore. It would hurt like hell. It has been shown that growing up without a father-like figure can cause emotional damage to children.

My father left for the 2nd and final time when I was 13 - I didn't see him again until I was 27. He had zero sense of remorse or shame. 1st time he left I was 5: he went to work and didn't come home, the family car was abandoned by the water front, and he'd got a flight back to his home country. He was gone for 2 years. These "people" need serious punishment; there is no justice for people raised like us.

The statute of limitations is such a nonsense rule. Its like you're rewarding a criminal for getting away with it for so long. Its the justice system saying, whelp, you got us good, you deserve to walk free 🤷‍♀️
@fodaseyoutub1
@fodaseyoutub1 2 жыл бұрын
It's the justice system recognizing that after decades, evidence is lost. Innocent people go to jail even as it is, what do you think would happen if police started prossecuting crimes from 50 years ago when all evidence to prove your innocence has probably been lost. Did you even bother to research why things are the way they are?

As a United States citizen you have rights in the legal system Right to confront witnesses against you, right to a trial by a jury of your peers. Be free from cruel and unusual punishment and rights to Due Process under the law. The longer it takes for you to be charged with something, the more those rights are impinged. Witnesses die, memories and exculpatory evidence is lost. Alibis are harder to prove. So we set time limits to balance prosecution with protection of rights. You can file charges against someone, say for SA against John Doe an unknown person at this time and it will stay the tolling of the statue of limitations until that person can be identified.

What a monstrous thing to do to both of his families and the dead person whose identity he stole. And what kind of stupid bureaucracy issues a birth certificate for a person with a death certificate? The whole disaster could have been shut down right there.
@jessicablacknall
@jessicablacknall 3 жыл бұрын
The birth and death certificate I could understand a bit. My sister has passed and if I needed a copy of her birth certificate for anything, a few years ago I could have taken the death certificate in to show that I'm handling the affairs of a deceased person and need a certified copy of that record. The law in my state only recently changed to where applicants have to show ID and proof of relation to obtain that. Other states may be farther behind in that regard. He could have claimed to be a family member needing a copy.

Or if ur spouse is terminally ill, or passes suddenly, ur able to comprehend the reasons they're no longer in ur life. But this dude, he played on his wife and kids emotions. They were played mentally. They grieved his loss then 23 years later he pops up like a f*cking jack n the box & that cop calling Linda like nope he's not dead he's in jail. Omg!! Those 2 kids, though they're grown now can u imagine the wounds that probably never properly healed thats been ripped open all over again!! So upsetting Hey, I don’t know know how to message you private or etc. This is actually my first time requesting a Missing case and she has been missing since November 1st 2021. I used to go to elementary/high school - same grade name , her name is Shannon Doh White or Shannon White - if you research her, she is from Kamloops BC. She loves her black jeep and her dog from what I can see. I wasn’t friends with her but from what I remember she is a Kind/Real Person and in school and we’ve all just been so traumatized over it and I could only imagine what her family and friends are going threw. Nothing is getting resolved. I just thought I would bring this to your attention to help Shannon White further because everyone so desperate need and we all need as much support! Thank you so much and I love your videos ♥️🙏🏼 Thank You

My husband of ten years just dissapeared nov 23 of last year. We have two toddlers 4 and 2 ......it's like I didn't even know him at all. Very scary world we gave no idea where he is and has blocked us from any contact. I don't know what happened. This story scares me

So sorry to hear this,some men are unfortunately cowards and don't want the responsibility of children and a marriage etc anymore, rather than trying to sort it out they up and leave

Yeach I'd think Bella has brought them an insane amount of business. So a 1000 phone isn't that much if you think about it.

@@SeaSeaCelia I imagine they pay Bella significantly more than just a phone. Someone with her number of subs is doing extremely well financially and so she should. I just don't think some people realise how much youtubers earn. Especially if they have ads, memberships, sponsorships, merch and patreon. Probably more per month than most people earn in a year.

You need to look up how much youtubers with several million subs earn lol.
