I had the honor to work with BBDO Canada on the Missing Matoaka Project. I was hired as a screenwriter to re-write the movie, "Pocahontas". With a whole new script with more accurate dialogue and narrative - we hope this project sheds light on the truth that was Pocahontas' (aka Matoaka's) life. She was first documented Missing and Murdered Indigenous woman - but she certainly wasn't the last.
