Thanks for showing us an easy way to make miso soup anytime with the dashi soup stock, which makes it more tasty. You are impressive with your Mandarin too.

You're welcome! Yes, the key to make the miso soup taste better is actually the hondashi, you can try to make one with that next time :)

白色和紅色の味增湯一樣好喝..我不知道紅色味增湯有這麼多材料..我只加海帶,昆布和豆腐而已..Thank you for sharing this recipe.
There were very few Japanese outlets where you can buy Japanese food ingredients back in the 80s, the one I remember was in Daimaru at River Valley road, when I first visited Sendai (Japan). I told my Japanese friend I love miso soup and wanted to buy miso paste, she brought me to buy it but without telling me about dashi stock, hence when I came back to Singapore and tried making the miso soup, it tasted very different, very salty, almost unpalatable 😞, now I know making miso soup, dashi is very important.

Hi Miki-san, I just want to encourage you that I can understand your Mandarin without looking at subtitles~! wow!!! wondering tho, do you sometimes wish you be learning Mandarin in Shanghai/ Beijing instead of acquiring our Singaporean Mandarin accent?
@MikiinHongKong2 жыл бұрын
Oh really? haha I'm so happy to hear that!! I think acquiring Singaporean Mandarin is easier since I can mix different languages into the sentence 🤣
