My heart breaks for Dane’s family anxiously awaiting his safe return. LE is not properly trained to assist the neurodiverse population. I reside in Northern California less than an hour from the most recent sightings mentioned, and I have never heard Dane’s story before. Being on the major thoroughfare of I80, I can attest to never seeing a single flyer. I’ll be keeping a lookout for him now, and I hope that others are as well.

If there was any way he could somehow come to his senses & walk into a police station & say he's missing, he would. Hopefully someone either recognizes him & doesn't let him out of their sight, or someone meets him then realizes something's off, & tries to help him, which leads him home. Heartbreaking.

"How much of the knowledge that we know comes from actual knowledge". That's how a philosophical, intelligent mind works and thinks. Not all thoughts straying from the norm are "ramblings". I understand in this case it may be, but just wanted to give Dane a compliment because topics like these are topics I discuss with my own young son often. Some people, many of them young, have that need. I will also add that locking people inside during Covid... I can't even imagine! We live in Scandinavia and that NEVER happened (it's not a left wing vs right wing issue here). Dear mom, if you read this, I think of you and your very beautiful son.

The sadest some you tubers about year ago have brought this story case up . God bless him and his family . I lost a daughter 2019 and right same time few month later the pandemic was very stressful moment .But hopfullyy the can find him what if the family get court documents to say hes not fit mentally to take care of him self because hes of age thats why they cant do any thing . But maybe if they say hes incompetent could that work ? I know in canada im sure they can ??

Finger prints When he got his drivers license. No brush with the law. I check in with the police. DNA was taken from family members.
