@@Woohchaiell lots of country roads don't have them. I lived in the country and saw it often. My mom and I almost went off a country road into the river one dark moonless night when we both dozed off for a few seconds from the monotonous ride. I woke up just in time to see the road curving out and to the side of our headlights beam and screamed "MOM! THE ROAD! TURN!" I woke mom up just in time for her to turn and we crossed the small bridge safely. It rattled us both. I still think about that moment and it's been 10+ years. The road we almost went off of had a rail but only by the bridge and not on the curve which had a drop off to the river's flooding area. They really should have had one there cause it was a very creepy drop off. It used to give me chills to drive by it before we almost went off it that night. So knowing we almost fell off it later was so scary. Lol
