Week 2 recap of my Mission 40 training series, where I will attempt to get down to 40 minutes in the 10k in 6 weeks time.
This week was another solid week of running, I’m feeling pretty good and my training is progressing well. I’m happy with the structure and variety of the plan, and so far I seem to have pitched the intensity just right.

I’m feeling pretty confident I can get a PB, but what can I run on the day?
Week 3 is a mini-recovery week in preparation for the Wrexham Village Bakery HM at the end of it. I’ll be pacing the 1.50 HM, so I’m looking forward to a chilled, enjoyable run in Wales.
