Wow, NOT skipping the first fight. You got some cajones. Personally with Nero vs. Fury, I usually have better luck clashing with him using the UNREVVED split-- since it's slower, its active frames last longer, giving a bigger window for the attacks to clash. EX-Shuffle on the other hand is great if it's fully charged, because it just surrounds Nero in hitboxes. Wow, using ragtime for purposes other than slow world, I'm impressed. Proto Angelo: I remember Conqvist's guide talking about this dude, and one of the big takeaways I got from that video is *clashing fucks him up*. If you can clash with his sword, it stuns him just enough for you to unleash a few big attacks and knock him on his ass. Follow up with Showdown, followed by a Buster, rinse and repeat. Still a pain in the ass, but significantly less so. The fight before urizen: You CAN fight those weak-ass enemies, but you have to be tricky about it. Snatch the ones on top of the cliff and pull them down below, then fight everyone as stylishly as you can for max points. But it's also just as viable and easier to skip it, so that's a fine strategy. Good video, dude. Nice to see some S rank strategies that aren't just "don't get hit lol"-- because yeah, it's pretty much a given that you'll get an S rank with No Damage. This is one of my favorite channels to keep track of at this point, keep it up.

Main thing about getting good with Nero is learning how to get exceeds down properly, isn't it? It seems like the absolute baseline.

JC and knuckle cancels are more important imo. Exceed is just for damage

@Rouge Ytx using devil bringer during an animation makes a spectral knuckle that cancels knockback

@@SSSmokeStyle I'd argue you need that exceed damage more than knuckle in DMD tho, you can always snatch but a DT behemoth/proto angelo and the three warriors army needs a LOT of firepower to kill.

That was the most stylish I’ve ever seen Nero be against a fury. And fun fact, you can completely ignore your style ranking here and beat Urizen, it’s not easy but if done it’s a guaranteed S rank, on any difficulty. (Took me a couple days to do)

@@friendboy10 I avoided using Helter Skelter on the second fight, I had a much easier time with gerbera as a dodge, since I wasn’t familiar enough with his attack patterns to see an opening for Helter, plus the crystal has crazy health making the breakage for Helter virtually useless, even if your invulnerable you can only do that a max of 8 times, plus no matter how much damage you do, you HAVE to break 4 crystals.

If you don't mind to use the Trainer MOD, it is pretty easy to defeat Urizen by Dante, even you are just an average joe. Man in read + royal guard + some simple attack, you can defeat Urizen of stage 8 by Dante without any damage. Just play DMC5 recently, some say Vergil even easier since this character is over power

@@computervision557 Vergil is stupid levels of strong! This fight even on DMD is a joke, deep stinger still deletes his shield in one go. I’d love to use the character switch mod for this game and if there’s one for DMC4se however my limitation is that I’m stuck on console, I don’t have a PC to play the game, which sucks because I also want the costume mods people have made for the game.

About the first Fury fight: if you want to make it easier on yourself, put the time-stopping arm before Punchline and use it around when the Fury spawns, so you can use Showdown on it an grab it. Works most of the times I tried on SoS and DMD.

I feel like major thing I don’t see people do in this game with Nero is use his table hopper , it’s a really useful move and the best way to put is IF YOU KNOW HOW TO ROYAL GUARD then you’ll be good at using table hopper . It’s one of those high risk high reward moves because it does increase your style . I really honestly don’t see people use it to the fullest potential of what it can used for .

Tip: when urizen uses his tentacle atack, you can wait until the tentacle is very close to you and perform a dodge roll, this will trigger table hopper and will be very easy to avoid them

My strategy As dante dr faust from distance. Attack if you have safe opening or just shoot from distance As nero. Same as dante but charge shoot from distance attack if you have safe opening, disengage and charge shoot again you could try to ragtime and buster arm urizen but it takes practice to know when hes stun

@@norangzforever yeah I’ve seen that Faust is the answer to his shield and the same with showdown, it seems that hovering above or behind pretty much makes it easy especially with his “final” version

Ive always used Gerbera. Learning to parry enemies mid combo is so awesome feeling. Like using it on Virgil during one of his "stingers" while in DT and getting a full combo off afterward. Its a special feeling and the camera view and slowdown combo makes it look sweet!

I legit use a buster arm just for that fury, fuck that fury. the rest is tomboy's domain :D also thank sparda you don't have to beat armor urizen for the S rank.

@Santiago Trimarchi mission 12 on Hell and Hell. Granted the mission isn’t too hard since you can abuse Dr. Faust to easily kill the boss without getting hit BUT I was too prideful to do that lol. I was determined to get an S rank without being cheap and using Dr. Faust. For HaH on mission 12 it’s almost impossible to get an S rank if you don’t get the No Continue/no hit bonus so getting hit once requires a whole mission restart which is incredibly frustrating when fighting Urizen at the very end. It took me about 6-7 hours total just to get an S rank on that mission mostly due to having to learn the hit box on all of Urizens weird tentacle attacks and one hit equaled restarting. And just to get to Urizen it takes about 10 minutes and 3 battles, 2 of which aren’t hard but can definitely catch you off guard if you get unlucky with some moves and kill you

@@VegaMK2 the most safest way to use Showdown against normal demons is using at least one demon as a shield with the bringer. That way you won’t have to worry about getting interrupted. Otherwise use it when they’re stunned.

@@stormcutter59 What do you mean? That fart move doesn't cause any damage. It just knocks you away from Urizen. DT has superarmor to cancels it

@@stormcutter59 Urizen’s knockback does not inflict damage. It hits you, but no health will be lost. Smoke tanked the “hit” with DT to use Showdown safely.
