I like a grippy dart. So I do look for grip, but I like a straight barrel so I tended to go with the simple dart. Really liking Mission darts. Keep up the good work and keep the info coming.

Nice review. I always go for sort of compromise and I use and prefer most basic straight barrels with no paint and no coating but I choose fancy bright colors of stems and flights.

My first darts were winmau ton machines and now im rocking with the joe cullen darts. i got to try my friends darts from 80s and 90s and loved the simple design on those and will get some basic straight barrel darts next for my self

I use the target alx 04 and have the 03 but would say that you can see that the price is on how much milling is done I think on most of the really pricey darts but it all depends on what feels nice for your own throw great video as always

I throw the ALX 04 myself and I would agree! Main reason I bought them was the high grip level and the milling on the ALX series’s have great grip!

Can you also do a performance elite dart review? There is no review anywhere. Or have you had the chance to try it before? Or comparing it with Lee Esans Dart, which one is in a better position in terms of price performance?

Been using gary anderson since 2014 those were phase 3 i guess .. switched for NOIR in 2016.. last december i got the phase 5 but couldnt get used to the barrel so i just got another phase 3 noir set of darts in 25grams.. use them with condor axe metallic red and absolutely love them!

These have enough nice little touches to avoid just being a "basic" set... I love those little etches on the straight barrel parts of the rings. I also like the back end having a larger smooth section. Some days I like to have my thumb fat (real technical term) on a smooth part. Really didn't expect to like these as much as I do after seeing your review. You know I'm right down the line about the fancy darts... I love collecting & playing casually with fancy darts, but any serious match I'm using simple straight barrel or torpedo dart (usually from Dartsclearance)

Incredible video as always worldwide✌️🔥 I actually like fancy darts tbh. But that’s just cause i really like fancy colors on dartbarrels. For example my two sets of Matchdarts are the Shot Celt Cernunnos and the One80 Chameleon Sunny GG.

Shot darts are at the top when it comes to fancy. They look nice, almost like they belong in a museum but I don't know how anyone could possibly throw them

I actually always buy used darts on eBay and have never paid more than 40 € for a set. But there were sets that would have cost 60-70 € new. I don't set a limit if I really want the darts.

Great review, I would get a dart that 90 percent to 97 percent tungsten. The coast is all the material. I have darts from 10.00 and up. Some time it the look, or design of a dart. All the best

i am just a living room recreational player. To be honest i love to buy a new set of darts just for the fun of it. I love clean and simple looking darts, which feel good in my hands, and i also like to buy darts the pros actually use on stage. So i absolutely love the darts in this video, they look like darts i might add to my collection

I'm not going to pay crazy prices for a fancy dart when I can throw cheap ones just as bad. The more designers the better.

straight barrel darts can have almost infinite different designs if you get really technical. If you have small multi rings, say 30 on a barrel, then if you just change on of those 3 rings with a different size multi ring, like just the 27th ring is different, or the 18th and 2nd multi ring is different size or smooth, you can come up with infinite designs, but they will still generally just be a straight barrel multi ring design. This is what the companies will do and just market it as "something new"

Used to use a couple different reasonably fancy darts, mid range priced red dragon and stuff, trying to find out whats best, then bought a really cheap set of winmau navigators 2nd hand and completely changed my game, just felt more confident throwing them, and they were the most basic dart i ever owned, but its always down to the individual and how they feel

Great job on the Match weighting A set most people could use. I’m a sucker for buying new fancy darts and as you know WWD I’ve just bought the Winmau MVG Vantage and the Danny Noppert Freeze edition darts but my current match darts are the Andy Smith (the Pieman) smooth barrelled darts, you couldn’t get less basic than that. Great stuff WWD 👍🏻

I don't "fall for marketing" but if a dart looks really fancy it's a bonus. First all I care about is shape and weight and if I can throw it well and it feels comfortable in my hand. Then all the extra stuff is just a bonus. I've never tried shot darts but if I tried a set that I played well with I would definitely use them because they look awesome. I like the fancy diamond coating Snakebite darts, but those are simple designs. I don't care what pros are doing either, I just like what I like. Don't care about marketing or price either. But I don't expect price to make me a better player. No shame in using the bling. I'm the one who sees them go into the board all time. Why not make it look cool to the eye?

Have tried many different configurations of darts in the past 2 years, I am now back to using 24g Simon Whitlocks, with the urban grip, they seem to suit my grip and throwing action the best, which is backed up by my average improvement this season. However, they are not a Straight, Multi-ringed dart. So I guess I'm saying, try a few sets and stick with what suits you best. Evz will love the video, I'll pull his leg about it when I see him next!

The only way I would buy an expensive set of darts, was if I had the money to burn, but I wouldn't buy, to play with, I would buy as a collector. My three recent sets I've bought are fairly basic and cost me no more than £50. But I am a sucker for rainbow darts, I keep looking at the one80 chameleon sets and they aren't that pricey. I see that Darts Clearance just released some new rainbow darts about an hour ago. They also dropped a gold and black version. Awesome darts but sadly the shipping is insanely expensive to the USA at the moment. Something happened to the UK postal service (Royal mail) and it made the prices quadruple.

Nice review on a basic set of darts. Don’t get me wrong, Mission makes some very nice darts, these are simply about as basic as they come. Personally the darts at Darts Clearance are beating everything on price and quality. I just hope they get the shipping to the USA straightened out. With Darts Clearance you are limited to the weights they offer. I honestly don’t mind paying more for something fancier but $50 is about my limit anymore.

My go to darts are 12g Steven Bunting darts. Obviously I'm in the rare group that plays with a different shape & extremely light darts. That being said my backups are Loxley Featherweight Black 16g. So I do play with a regular straight barrel dart from time to time. As for how many different shapes etc; you're already seeing duplicates. Compare the Winmau MVG to the Peter Wright Euros. They're identical except the color & maybe the coating from what I can tell. And I've never seen Wright use them but could be wrong.

You're spot on about the Euro 11's. Very, very similar to the MvG darts. So are the McKicks and the XQ Max

the higher engineered darts with milling , cuts, grips etc are far too grippy for me so I go for the more basic designs. usually straight barrel with smooth finished multi rings. red dragon rebels 25g working well for me currently

The "fancy" darts with all that milling also tend to wear out quicker and lose their grip after just a few months. Not a fan of them at all unless you're a collector.

These look like the Rob Cross gen 2 set . But the Cross darts have higher grip and the Swiss points ( if you think those are worth having ) , along with a higher price . I suppose the grip difference may be worth having . There are some darts which are more like sculpture pieces .... I would not buy them as they probably cause mayhem when collisions happen , besides ruining the nice machining and looks

I have Both fancy and plain jane darts. my current match darts are RD rebels. a shorter straight barrel classic plain boring barrel. but i do have mission reiki's and one80 acent 02. the reiki's are a little fancy with some extra cuts. and the one80 are even more fancy with multiple scallops and weird cuts. prices went from 23€ to 45€ to 80€ and to be fair they play the same. and like i said i do play matches with the cheapest set most boring set i own. that might change once i get my quantum darts. even tho with shipping and customs adding an other 50% on the price, they went from being 50€ to over 100€ so yea gready belgium strikes again.

I pay about 50$ max for my darts..i got friends who pay 150$ for taylor or barney darts and play bad..simple darts is all you need

I definitely think the market is over saturated. Basic darts work just as good as fancy darts but with so many basic darts out there, companies are making complex designs to be different and putting a big price tag on it. This wouldn't work unless people keep buying them which they seem to be.

Fancy darts are just marketing of you like the colours etc you buy them. I just go for the darts where i score high points that one i buy. I have a question for you why do we not see a new professional player beat a older Professional player with his one darts? Marketing?

I don't understand the fancy darts with all the bells and whistles and racing straps.. thy are usly ugly over priced and the players don't use them.. I lov darts I lov tinkring and trying to improve. These are nice lookin dart I'd pay 50euro for them.. Good vido 👍
