The bags of coffee looked familiar. I went to Gualcinse, Honduras on mission trips 5 years in a row. They stored their coffee bags in the local churches until a truck came by to pick them up. They used tan colored bags. Those of us in the mission group always brought back roasted coffee from Gualcinse. It was so good. If I didn't go anywhere until the next trip, I'd open my suitcase up & it smelled like coffee. God bless your mission work in PNG.

Out on short final the elevator looked like it was working hard to keep you level; lots of down trim for that ft CG. 🤔 I like the view of the stab/elevator on landing! Easily shows you're working to make a smooth touchdown when you have lot's of runway. 😁 "Fly it all the way to the parking spot!" I always wanted at least a little wind on landing. If it's calm, there's nothing to blame for a less than perfect landing!! 🤪

I cannot tell you how many times this aircraft has killed me in the sim. On take off I would get to 150-200 ft, the nose would pitch up rapidly the left wing would stall and I would go into the ground near vertical nose down. What stunned me was how quickly it would happen and how nothing I did would save me. My main mistakes were, well my main one was assuming that the aircraft flew like any other aircraft. I had read enough Flying Magazine articles to know that you always get checked out in a new aircraft and even have an instructor or experienced pilot in the type for your first few flights. First mistake was taking off with flaps 10 and not flaps 20. I was stunned when I saw you did this. Second mistake was trimming nose up for takeoff not realising that the Kodiak uses lots of nose down trim for takeoff. Third mistake not putting in any right rudder trim. I don't know if this was a contributor to the crashes on takeoff but it sure made the aircraft easier to fly on takeoff. Now I can takeoff at MGTOW without killing myself and rotate near the speeds you mention. Thanks a lot. I fly your routes a lot these days. I've been flight simming for 29 years this month. It's so important for simmers like me to know which airport you are flying into and out if. It also helps to know the date so we can use a weather app like XEnviro which has historical weather so we can fly those routes with the same weather conditions. Fuel and payload also helps with realism. Thanks. 👌
