Brilliant use of the external wingtip cameras, Ryan! This adds so much more realism for couch viewers to experience some of what pilots feel inside the cabin! 👌😁

A masterful account of a short but tricky flight, showcasing not only your skills as a pilot, but also as a filmmaker and film editor. The clear explanation of all phases of flight, the useful tips for operating a Garmin G1000 in a bush environment for the aviation-minded, the numerous angles, both internal and external, set against PNG’s spectacular background make for a highly compelling video. Clearly a lot of work must go into combining the numerous camera feeds into such a slickly and professionally edited piece, with just the right amount of cuts to keep the audience riveted and abreast of the progress of the flight. There seem to be numerous GoPros bolted onto the airframe - that extra drag must surely cost you a knot or two in cruise speed! After watching and enjoying the clip, I realized I’d just viewed a highly professional little masterpiece expertly telling a well-rounded story. Well done Ryan! And Hey, don’t beat yourself up about your landing. Given the conditions, you’re allowed a tiny skip on touchdown.

Men thats a great landing, in such a stressfull and high workload envoirment, only who fly so near the ground, between mountains and, difficult airstrips and clouds know it, you protected the nose, it was a great ldg, if that's your worst ldg i imagine your best!!! Keep up the good work mate, and may god protect you between those valleys! Good landings onwards and blueCAVOK sky!!!
@julianbrelsford3 жыл бұрын
Yeah to my untrained eye that landing looks like a lot of skill went in to making it as good as it was. There's always stuff you can't control when it comes to wind and weather, and most pilots don't land on short, sloped, grassy strips like that. No go-around, minimal flexibility in terms of touching down early or late & not wrecking the plane+injuring the occupants
