Ryan is a smooth operator. That was VERY challenging weather. Not to mention in PNG, which lacks a lot of the support we enjoy here in the US.

Flying itself is usually not the problem, but the number of decisions that have to be made per NM. That's what makes you tired at the end of the day because you have to concentrate so hard.

But all of that goes into the hopper of flight planning. Very necessary as long as the correct balance between “safety” and “expediency” is maintained. Ryan does it extremely well. Good job, pilot.

How are they sending you a video from your destination? Do they have internet in that remote village?
