saw BB king a two weeks ago....man this guy otta open for him....real hardcore to the bone sold my soul to the devil blues....love it. im white, i play blues but no white man could ever muster that soulful heart felt tone. yeah he got some wah and overdrive goin but you still feel it. if i ever go to NYC i gotta go through that tunnel shake his hand and stay for awhile. you find the best stuff on the streets..after the king's show walkin to my car there was a guy playin. homeless, ect. good stuf

I ran into floyd Lee last year 2011 in the subway in New York, I ran eight or so new york blocks to buy an harp than ran back just to play with with Floyd. I'll never forget that day. I'd run 25 blocks if I could do it again.

This Bluesman starts to sing his song in Japanese words from 6:00. "Daremo Kama te Kurenai" maens "Nobody cares about me", "Ikanaide" means "Please do not go", "Aishiteru" means "I love you". I think 2 backing Bluesmen are Japanese and they might teach these words to him and he pronouces the words in very good motion. I feel Blues from them.

Diggin' that fat, goopy, M'sippi mud sounding tone sweep on that wah pedal. Sad that blues ya hear these days, ain't blues you wanna listen to. There ain't no awesome guys like these on no big label showin blues to people, and them bigger name ones are canonized as blues folks who been Berkley taught all that junk about music, but never played note one of any blues. Ain't feelin it. This guy playin here got some ol' school pick up time somewhere. This ain't canned stuff here. That wah, the way he plays sounds like poppin bubbles. These guys make me smile.

The Video has to do with Floyd Lee, John Lee Hooker's cousin! He is born in Mississippi on 1933 !!! He has been playing the Blues all his life in many places of the world, such as Russia, Japan and Korea, even in the streets and subways (as it is now in New York)...
